Forget about Ruben Neves joining Spurs if £100m is what Wolves want for him...

'We need to be ready for everything': Bruno Lage admits Ruben Neves may leave Wolves this summer... as he remains firm of the midfielder's £100m valuation amid interest from Woolwich and Manchester United

  • Wolves could face losing Portuguese star Ruben Neves says boss Bruno Lage
  • Manchester United, Woolwich and Barcelona are all interested in the midfielder
  • Lage is keen to keep the 25-year-old at Molineux, but must be prepared for bids

If he goes they’ll be lucky to even get half of that for him. Plus with Mendes involved of course the price could be anything.

it would end up being 60mil + Player, and based on Levy model of valuation the player is likely Winks or Hojberg
No club is paying 100m cash for Neves

Why? He's not a system player. He's lightning quick, has bags of flair and scares the shit out of defenders. Not to mention off the ball he presses like a madman which was one of the reasons Liverpool targeted him in the first place. He's tailor made for English football & a manager who likes to play intense, counter attacking football.

These kind of players tend to thrive wherever they go..
Liverpool seem to have the monopoly on light night quick wingers lol

Also WTAF with Neves being "£100m" when they sold Jota for a fraction of that to the scousers...

From my understanding, Schlotterbeack was always going to stay in the Bundesliga for at least a few seasons more ... but I was surprised he didn't end up at Bayern or RB Leipzig

Borussia Dortmund have reached a full agreement with Freiburg’s Nico Schlotterbeck to become their second signing ahead of next season according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano

Give them 50 mill plus Winks. You're welcome.

deep lying playmker, has more to his game tthen jwp, can take set pieces also but has alot of defensive qualities too as he was a cdm in his younger days

just as good a passer as jwp too maybe not at good as taking free kicks

just thinks there is a more upside to neves then jwp he i younger too
Imagine though, how glorious it would be to sign JWP, then first game of next season, it's 0-0 at home to the some newly promoted Champo cloggers in the 90+7th minute, Son gets taken down just outside the box, ref gives a freekick, the wall is lined up, JWP is licking his lips....

Up steps Harry Kane to smash it into row Z.

Take set pieces out of the equation and you're left with a mediocre player whom Saints would charge a fortune for.

So a total bid of £30 mil?

Ward-Prowse still has four years left on his current deal, meaning the Saints are under no pressure to sell.
And fair play to them if they don't. I wouldn't be against signing him for set-pieces alone, he's a decent player around the field. But a club like Southampton, or West Ham with Rice, are well within their rights to hold onto the players they have contracted, or demand massive fees for them.

I wouldn't be spending more than 30m on Neves or JWP fwiw.. both good players but neither are or will be great players.

55m MAX they'd get for him

anyone actually watched dybala properly? doesnt seem to be where he should be from all the hype he had years ago. seems like another player that can produce nice moments from time to time but lacks consistency. argentinian dele
The 2022 edition of Dybala is definitely a luxury player. He's not going to put in the defensive or pressing effort required to be a success in England on a consistent basis.
