Haaah...

Imagine that
- on GK position it seems that Gollini out, Johnstone in on free.

- we obviously need some shift in CB position.
I would assume that Rodon has no future with us. CCV never has been involved and never will be. Potentially Sanchez could be sold. IF we see two outgoings, we might see 2 incomings as well. From sales we could get ~35 mil and add another that kind of amount.

- fullbacks - obvious problem area.
But if we could tempt Perisic to join us and he can really play on both sides. Then we have Doherty back who could save his career with us. Then we also have Sessegnon who seems to be improving. And Royal who in last two games has taken step forward and could be option against stronger opposition... then we would have Perisic, Sessegnon, Doherty, Royal as options and sell Reggie (seems to be Conte's preference) - then we could just add like 10 mil to his selling price and get in good fullback.

- midfield - hopefully Skippy returning with full fitness + Sarr joins + we have PEH and Benta. Imagine if we could also tempt Eriksen to join as free agent as well. I think then we could sell Winksy, Ndombelly, Lo Celso and also add Gueye there... we would be sorted with like ~10 mil spending.

- in attack - I think it is time to move on Moura, and Bergwijn could be leaving due to playing time. Imagine if we could take in Bale as free agent. And then add one superstar player (a'la Martinez) - we would have to maybe add like 30-40 mil to selling prices.

That would mean 30+10+10+40 = 90 mEUR net spend that would see addition of 4 free agents + Gueye + 4 further players... with 10 out (3 pretty much never play) and 9 in. For net spend that is not colossal.

And we would have-
GK - Lloris, Johnstone
CB - Romero, Dier, Davies, Tanganga, New CB1, New CB2
FB - Perisic, Sess, Dohery, Royal, New FB
CM - Gueye, Skippy, PEH, Benta, Sarr; New CM
FW - Kane, Son, Kulu, Bale; new FW

Somehow future does not seem that grim and billions don't need to be invested anymore.
That would be freaking awesome squad with both - youth and experience. We would also have spine in place that can start new season (Lloris, Dier, Davies, Romero, Sess, Doherty, Skipp, PEH, Son, Kulu, Kane) and then newcomers can start to push them and fight for starting positions....

I know it is all football-managery and all. But I do not think that much of what was proposed is unrealistic. Just maybe too much to do with 1 go.

I would love us to invest almost our entire budget on a top quality LWB and RWB whilst letting one of Reggie and Sess go and one of Royal and Doc go.

Would make a world of difference to get top level players in that position.

Other thoughts:

Ben Davies has been so good this year at LCB
Possibly another CM ? But Pierre has been good and Skipp will be better.
Understudy for Kane? Why not just recall Parrot or keep Berg.

As right wing-backs I'd choose the 2 candidates (1st choice & understudy) from these players:

Valentino Livramento (Soton)
Isaiah Jones (Boro)
Djed Spence (Boro)
Max Aarons (Norwich)
Jayden Bogle (Sheff. Utd)
Matty Cash (Aston V)
Nordi Mukiele (RB Leipzig)
Ridle Baku (Wolfsburg)
Joakim Mæhle (Atalanta)
Jeremie Frimpong (Leverkusen)
Noussair Mazraoui (Ajax)
Adama Traore (Wolves)
Denzel Dumfries (Inter)
Malo Gusto (Lyon)
Kyle Walker-Peters (Soton)
James Justin (Leicester)
Sergiño Dest (Barcelona)
Lukas Klostermann (Bor. Dortmund)
Ivan Perišić (Inter)
Nahuel Molina (Udinese)
Gonzalo Montiel (Sevilla)
Pablo Maffeo (Stuttgart)
Pol Lirola (Marseille)
Anthony Gordon (Everton)

Prospects
Calvin Ramsey (Aberdeen)
Justin would be good long term buy.

All day. Fit as a fiddle, just one of those tip-top professionals who want to eek every drop out of their careers. Think he'd be a brilliant addition and could play wing back or in the front three. The kind of quality rotation you need if you want to compete in a few competitions.
Could he do it in the prem? Plus doesn’t really help HG quota.

Fabrizio Romano gives us an exclusive round-up of the latest biggest transfer news stories following Manchester City’s move for Erling Haaland, with a look at how it could impact the futures of the likes of Harry Kane and Gabriel Jesus this summer.

Kane to Man City has “collapsed” following Haaland transfer

Manchester City’s interest in Harry Kane has clearly collapsed following the arrival of Erling Haaland. Harry’s priority is to reach a Champions League football spot with Tottenham and then have a direct discussion with the club at the end of the current season.

Kane has an excellent relationship with Antonio Conte, the Italian manager will demand confirmation of Harry among the many conditions to remain Spurs manager next season as well. Many clubs are interested but it will not be an easy deal despite the rumours about Manchester United: Daniel Levy intends to offer Kane a new deal, so it will be up to Harry.

Romano wrote in his column for CaughtOffSide: “Conte wants at least three or four high-level signings in the summer and then definitive clarity on the Spurs project, including keeping Harry Kane at the club.

“This is his priority to remain Tottenham manager, but the decision will be made in a meeting at the end of the current season.”

And the Kim saga continues...

Tottenham and Everton are locked in a transfer race with Napoli for Fenerbahce defender Kim Min Jae according to Fanatik.

Per the source, Spurs and Everton have been interested in the South Korea international throughout the course of the season.

The report claims that the defender is actually worth €11m but that he has a release clause.

Fenerbahce president Ali Koc is reported to be open to a transfer but won’t entertain an offer that does not activate his €23m release clause.

The 25-year-old is under contract until 2025.

The Yellow Canaries signed Kim Min Jae on a €3m move from BJ Guoan last August.

All three clubs are reported to have expressed a serious interest in the centre-back and are expected to make a move this summer.

The defender made 39 appearances in all competitions for Fenerbahce this season.

He started all but one of the Super Lig game’s he was available for establishing himself as a key player this term.

Kim Min Jae has 40 international caps for South Korea.

Fenerbahce will finish the season as runners-up after losing out in the title race to Trabzonspor.

I want him just cos he's Korean, I'm curious what he can do.

If we get rid of Sanchez, KMJ as a backup would not be a bad shout. Say Sanchez goes for 30m and KMJ comes in for 20m, the extra 10m can go towards Bastoni, who would cost a fortune.

Be realistic, who is paying £30m for Sanchez?
30m euros would not be unrealistic to a club like Sevilla who has shown an interest in him. Villa, Everton, Newcastle would also probably be happy to pay £30m for him.
