Transfers Summer 2022 Transfer Thread.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn is on Tottenham’s list of potential summer targets to bolster Antonio Conte’s squad for European football next season.

Conte will look to add up to six players when the transfer window opens.

The 27-year-old is not thought to be among the highest earners at Villa and has three seasons left on his contract, having signed an extension in 2020 after a full campaign in the top-flight under his belt.

His progress since arriving from Hibernian under Steve Bruce put him on Manchester United’s radar and they made an enquiry for him during January but ended up not signing a player during their only mid-season window under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

McGinn was awarded the Scottish Football Writers’ Association international player of the year this month, missing on three Premier League games for Villa during the campaign and keeping them in contention for a top-half finish heading into the final two games of the season.

We should go all out for Bellingham if Liverpool don't go in for him, as we wouldn't stand a chance if we were to go head to head with them. He's the type of player you can build your team around for years to come. Get rid of Lo Celso and Winks, that would cover half of his fee. Though he seems determined to stay another season at Dortmund from what I can gather, and they won't be keen to sell after they've just lost Haaland. Imagine Skipp, Bentancur and Bellingham in midfield in the near future, that's pretty tasty.
Winks and GLC will cover half his fee? Doubt it!!

Dortmund aren't a Premier League club selling an English player to another English side. When he does leave I expect it to be for 60-70 million. I think we could get 20 million for Winks off another Premier League side as he's at a good age. Should get at least that for Lo Celso if not more.

BVB will understand know the HG value to a EPL team regardless.

They certainly did when they insisted on a £110m price-tag on Sancho the summer before last...... ("Yeh, they didn't get it though" you may say; but United were prepared to go £100m much the same.)

Sancho is a forward though and they always go for more. Not to mention at one point he was arguably the hottest property in Europe.
