Dont disagree on the name. In an ideal world it would be called WHL and that would be it. I'd be delighted with that. But if they were going down that route they'd have saidsomething by now and we did appoint someone a few months back specifically to get naming rights so its coming and imo might as well be now to help Conte.
It would be very nice I agree, but a very dumb business move those naming rights brings in alot of money that would help finance the stadium.

The optimum time would be if we can re-capture CL at the end of next season.

Personally, I'm in the minority that would rather have OUR name attached to it rather than some corporate ism. In fact I'd re-christen it as The White Hart Lane Stadium.

Sometimes heritage means more.

Nah, we're a self sustainable club, get that bag & get better footballers.

Aside the fact that the amount would be payable over the course of 10 or maybe more years;; we're currently not big enough to spend that massive amount in one window without wasting much of it through overpayment and ridiculous wages.
We can still leverage it and spend it now

We could spend it - it would be comparable to when Chelsea first exploded post Abramovic and that spree tee’d them up for a decade

Do you have so little ambition in your own career, Johnny 2 stars?

is this accurate? that seems a lot
Around 100 per home fan once you’ve allowed for 30 per head for 3,000 away fans

I think, as long as I’ve got the decimal point in the right place

Which I suppose could be about right. There are some v expensive seats at 2-300 I saw on the exchange and which I passed on.

Then there’s the stonking amounts for tunnel club etc, boxes, all the merch revenue, beers...

So yes, for PL and CL that might be right. And NFL of course. And next week there’s a Rugby League final (?) with Wigan as Wembley closed for repairs

Levy must hate having to peg cup games early rounds at £20 or so!!!!

He's just going to sell them as £45match day experience packages, along with food, beverage and merchandise goodies from the Superstore.

Yeah, well, ok, with access to buy food, beverage and merchandise goodies from the Superstore

Teed up; then followed up with a other 20 years of losses and doping.

.....Oh and nice shift of the goalposts btw.

You originally spoke of blowing the proceeds of a 10 year sponsorship deal in one summer like some chav moron with a lottery win.

Do you have so little ambition in your own career, Johnny 2 stars?

Didn't take you long to start acting like a bell-end did it?

Shame.

The extremely short turn we had from Woolwich to Burnley played a role in why that game was so tight. And even with that, we had several good scoring chances.

With a full week of rest, Conte drawing up his magic, our form in both attack and defense, I'm as confident as any Spurs fan has a right to be.

That said, when I'm watching this from the Dominican Republic on Sunday, I'm going to be a nervous wreck. Good thing drinks are free.

No reason at all we shouldn't win this game comfortably, but crazy crap can happen.
Not forgetting , there’s no guarantee the goons are going to win , they’re mentally gone!

Thin air.

CL is 50-75M, the stadium revenue (incl events), the trust/faith in Conte, the foundation of low wage bill vs peers……

I expect us to spend 300M gross on 5/6 with a lot of movement out so 150-200M net
A third of a billion!! No way. Even I would tell Levy to hold the horses there.

You can make too many changes you know and the team can look a little disfunctional for the first half season. We need to build on what we have and have a strong start. Three new starting 11 players (two WBs and a CM) and 2-3 quality backups (one of them being a backup striker) that can impact the game when they come on is what we need IMO

Chelsea losing...

Change title thread!

So Excited Reaction GIF

Agree. That’s gonna be potentially 1/3BN.

Buy players at the optimal age and it’s an investment…. No ridiculous 400k PW wages, spend big fees on the best prospects no matter the fee. Players like Pau Torres, Nkunku etc
