every little thing they cling on to at that club turns out to be false.
They thought their squad was somehow exceptionally young, but ours was younger for most of Poch's tenure.
They say they had an injury crisis, the numbers show that's false. Then they pivot to saying the injuries were to key players. Romero missed half the season, Skipp missed even more, Doherty injured just as he finally clicked, he was playing LWB cos Sess and Reguilon were both injured. etc etc.
They claimed that they finally have a solid defence, even if they're not scoring much, but they've conded 8 goals more than us, and that's with Nuno gifting 3 goals to everyone in London.
There's literally nothing for them to grasp on to.
They claimed they had a covid outbreak but it was only one player…
THIS a million times over. I'm really looking forward to the start of the season now, can't wait to see what Antonio and the team are going to conjure up for us.The last 3 matches of the season have completely changed the summer for both sets of fans.

True. I've been spending my evenings watching replays and extended highlights of the more fun games we had. I'm already shopping for flights and excited for when the fixture list comes out so I can book.
