A team built around him?

It takes a particular coach for a job like that...one with a fucking death wish...

Worked out for Southampton in the 90s. They just let Le Tissier do what he wanted and watched him score a goal of the season contender on a regular basis. He was lazy, didn't train well and would never have made it at a big club. He knew this and that's why he stayed where he was worshipped rather than move where he'd probably be vilified.

Noooo.

Here's me thinking Tobi would get some first team exposure. But they released him. Disappointed in that. He was worth pur
pursuing given he's the only left footed CB aside from Davies.

The kids been absolutely nowhere near the first team, ever. Have you ever seen him play with grown men or is this assertion he should have got a go based purely on the fact he's left footed?

This is funny for 2 reasons.
Lukaku ain't coming to Tottenham and this paper actually wrote "shit storm" on it.

The benchmark is to create a squad like Liverpool and be competitive in all four competitions. Then their are enough games and competitions to keep everyone happy.
Salah, Mane, Jota, Diaz, Firmino and Origi. The first four players rotate nicely. Firmino and Origi don’t really play so I would argue we need four strikers. It’s up to the manager to keep everyone happy. Football is a squad game nowadays. The days of 1 sub (Gary Brook) to 5 subs are now here.
Ideally we should keep berg as on of our 4 attackers. To go out replace him with similar qualities is gonna cost more than selling him. I agree we need to be like pool and May be rotate a little bit more especially if either son or Kane has a little knock, need a rest, little bit out of form and need a kick up the arse. They arn”t going to maintain their levels and remain injury free for ever.
Even kulu when dropped/rested would require someone else stepping in. Unfortunately conte has preferred Lucas to berg in that situation. We should keep him and the coaches should explain the number of games this season and he’ll have plenty of game time.
I can’t see us buying someone similar for the same price and who would also have to spend time on the bench.
Of course if berg wants to leave then that’s different but we should attempt to keep him.
Any remember the citeh goal in his first match. There is a player there.

We don't have one AMF, never mind having a back up one. Perhaps it's not a position which Conte is going to utilise, other than perhaps having Erikson on the bench?

It looks like Sarr is also some sort of attack minded MF but I think he might get a another loan, he's untried in the PL and if Conte is going all out for glory next season I don't see Sarr being risked in the first team.
We don’t especially need AMF because Kane drops back into that position so well. What we need to make us more creative is better wingbacks. Hopefully Perisic is one.
