People who think our front is okay, are absolutely naïve and thinking small. This is why we always fail to deliver.
Steven Bergwijn is gone. Moura is not good enough. And coming from the bench not working out for him lately. Just not good enough.
Also having no competition for any of the top 3 is just making them being lazy. This ain't the way you improve the squad. Having a top competition is going to push them further.
Also no one guarantee that Kane, Son or Kulusevski are going to be in top form all over. Kulusevski has done incredible well, but let see him in a full season. He may underdeliver.
Injury also happen. And we are going to be in CL.
At the very least we need at least 5 players for that 3 spots upfront.
Lautaro Martínez is a great player, but he ain't coming to us. There is no way in hell he will come to us.
Barcelona also have interest, but he decided to stay. He won't snub Inter for us, that is for 100% sure.
That transfer ain't happening. It's probably used for some other transfer, either by us or by Inter to make PSG paid what they want.
I think we should go no higher than 50-60m. and aim for players under 25.
I also don't see us a title contender next season, as City and Pool are still way far ahead of us.
Top 4 is going to be great result, and step by step improving the team, game and placement. Still it's unknown if Conte going to be happy with that. But even if we spend 500m. on 1 summer, that still won't make us contenders for the title with the teams in the league, and that City with 2billions team, still spend huge and improve their squad even further.
We are not in their league, and the best we could possible do, is stay close and wait for them to make a mistake, aka bad season or so.
Our summer so far is going great.
I think we still need a great creative midfielder of Modric type to build our game, as i don't see Bentancur as such player.
It was crystal clear last year that we struggle heavily against a team that are tight on defense, and have solid midfielders. We played terrible against "closed" sides.
Main reason, not a solid creative midfielder, who can create openers/angles for our players upfront.
Bentancur is not that type of player, and we still need that type of CM. Same for Hojbjerg.
We need that Modric type of player in that position, and we will be totally next level with it.
On top of that we would want top class Wing-back + LCB.
And if someone leaves, bring backup for that, cause the season going to be a long one, and Conte loves to have options + 5 subs, and even Conte mention that.
Our squad is thin, and we need to improve on that too.
Still as i said, so far we are doing great.
