He's a WC player. How do you know he won't push any of our front 3 for a starting spot, maybe with the exception of Kane, who has quite a unique skill set? I mean the way some of you think, even if we signed Neymar you'd probably have him as a bench warmer.
Martinez is class. He can easily replace any of our front 3. And that's a good thing. It'll push them to play better and, guess what, there'll be so much rotation up front that all 4 of Kane, Son, Deki, and Lautaro will end the season with roughly the same playing time. Not to mention we need some succession planning and shouldn't wait until the last minute when Kane and Son are past their prime.
