An 'interesting' young striker? I don't even know what that's supposed to mean, what's interesting is that you seem to think that a young player (who isn't English) who has played well for 6 months is worth double than an established PL player with International experience who is yet to hit his prime?

What justifies the £75m price tag of JWP?
I meant that broja as loads of potential. And he’s homegrown. He’s from Chelsea academy. So it’s like he’s English for the homegrown rules. I would like him at spurs.

Ward prowse is obviously not worth 75M. I’d say 40M is a fair price. But I’d rather pay 75 for ward prowse between that and sign winks for 25. No doubt

Winks still has much to offer clubs in the PL and he's still 26, asking for £10-15m for him is under-valuing him, Danny Drinkwater went to Chelsea for £35m 5 years ago and this was before the current inflation.

Winks can do a job for a middling/lower team in this league, he aint that bad.

Drinkwater was a disaster and Chelsea overpaid a lot. However drinkwater played in a much higher level at Leicester than winks did ever did for us tho. But hey I’m good taking 100M from psg from winks.

I have been counting down the days until someone mentioned inflation and I knew it was time to log out. See you all in August.

Was he any better than Winks?

Not sure you can get any higher level than the CL final...

But anyway I digress, the club are valuing him around the £20m which is fine, people go on about him being so bad but we see this all the time with footballers, they change their environment and suddenly discover a bit of confidence and form, look what happened to Gio.

Let’s agree to disagree chief! :contethumb:

I hope it's not true ...

Man United to sign Meghoma from Tottenham - Sources

Sources: Tottenham sensation Jayden Meghoma agrees to join Man United

Tottenham sensation Jayden Meghoma has told friends he is joining Man United, Football Insider understands.

The 15-year-old left-back has yet to sign professional terms with Spurs and United are close to luring him to Old Trafford.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that the deal is agreed in principle and Meghoma is set to sign youth terms that will be converted into a pro deal when he turns 17.

The teenager, who has come through the youth ranks at Tottenham, is an England Under-16 international and regarded as one of the most promising young talents in the country.

State of our academy compared to 10 years ago. :(

Hope the new staff can sort it out pronto.
