Grealish is far better than Maddison to me. Grealish was completely dominating Aston Villa games. Maddison has a good game once every few games.

I’m not so sure. Maddison i think is more of a goal threat. Was it 18 goals and 12 assists last season?

Chiriches was actually class for his first few games/months. We were all hailing him as our long term partner for Vertonghen.

Then he got some weird back injury if I recall and he came back playing like a pissed Harry McGuire. His rapid decline was symbolic for that whole season.

Maddison must be one of the most underrated players in the prem, 18 goals and 11 assists in all comps last season yet doesn't get a look in for England. I don't like the guy but hes got a lot of talent.

He had a poor season year before, that's possibly following him atm.

Lenglet loan allows us to put big money into other areas of the team.

Really seems like we set aside £50-60m for a LCB. Guess we can spend that money elsewhere now

12/8 in the PL so the rest must have been in Europa/cups. Which is still very good and he’s a good player. I just feel Villa Grealish influenced games more.
