I don’t. There’s loads left in the kitty if you factor is sales too. We have to spend that £150m this year. I suppose it could be used on new contracts for the manager and player too of course. I suspect the money made from sales will be held back to be used in January. Nobody knows what the World Cup will do to the squad in terms of injuries.

There is no 'requirement to spend the £150m this year'

After Spence I expect Spurs will monitor players on the move plus make enquiries of players who we might like and probably make a move for a couple of players.

But we will not be desperate buyers so if players available do not seriously improve the squad we wont buy, save that cash and buy in the December transfer window or next summer.

I agree. I think Conte has now got players for each key position from the list agreed with Paratici & Levy.

I suspect some were top, or near top, of the position list: eg Perisic for WB, Bissouma for CM, Richarlison for central & wide striker rotation.

Lenglet was not first choice, but once the likes of Bastoni & Gvardiol became too difficult, we signed an experienced ball-playing LCB which was another Conte priority.

Forster as GK2 is better than Gollini, and Association-trained.

Spence ticks the RWB & Association-trained box.

Now, Conte can take his time assessing the squad & their ability to adapt to his tactical & physical demands. The players left in London will be shipped out (either sold or loaned). The players in Korea will get a chance to stake a claim.

And, as you say, if a van der Vaart type opportunity presents itself, we have the cash to pounce.

There is enough players already in midfield if you include Alfie , harvey and Sarr. Plus if we can’t move on gio , winks and tanguy. As for forwards we have 5 already plus Gil, Troy and Scarlett.

We are ,hope the it‘s taken Levy being bullied by Conte after 22years to spend are equally happy fan boys

I can’t stand the twat , but I admit he is backing Conte , how about you admit it’s about time he backed a manager

Yea a game changer type of player would be great if someone comes available. Sometimes the last minute surprise deal can work out. Think we’ve had a few over the years. Even a loan deal may come up.

I have had my issues with Levy (Stratford, ESL, Jol sacking, Redknapp sacking etc) but the money sits with uncle Joe he is the billionaire.

Theyre pretty fucked. They pay over 100% in wages to turnover, their owners over inflate their shirt sponsor themselves, they bankroll the club too but not enough for them not to have to sell a big player every summer. The reason they’ve bought nobody is because they’ve made no sales. It’s why I’m surprised we haven’t tried for Barnes or Maddison.
Barnes would be great!

You know what I really love about this window, these are the players I want.

Richarlison: we need a multi role attacker who can compete. Done.

Bissouma: we need an elite midfielder who can dominate sitting in front of the back 3.

Perisic: we need an elite LWB.

Spence: we need a RWB who can take players on and beat people with speed and power.

Forster: we need a top number 2 goalie who is Home Grown.

Langlet: we need Bastoni and if not a ball playing LCB until we can get someone of Bastoni’s quality.

Every signing makes sense.

He won’t rank up with Bissouma or Perisic for elite name but I have been quite excited to get him.

Obviously caught the eye against Woolwich in the cup. He is very raw but we haven’t had a full back/wing back with this level of speed or physical power and aggression since Walker. The game against Woolwich he murdered Martinelli who is one of Woolwich's quickest players so having someone who has out and out elite pace will be a benefit.

Genuinely makes Martinelli look pub league level. Think he’s going to kill it here after Conte coaches him up a bit.
