Heard we might be swapping ndombele for roma midfielder zianolo. Hoijberg I wouldn't be disappointed if he left as well as hes not a tottenham type midfielder. Reckon we could do a deal with Villarreal getting rid of lo celso and royal for Pau torres and Estepian the left back.

We don’t have foreign spots for any of this. Maybe 1 for rodon leaving and a 2nd if Emerson leaves. But we can’t just swap ndombele for zianolo because we aren’t even counting ndombele in the roster at this point.

Of course you can, if Conte wants Zaniolo, Jose thinks Ndombele can hack Serie A, there’s a deal that might work (except we’ve apparently put a huge price on NDombele, probably to hugely dilute the offer to Roma).

Both have ?

Conte will simply push player X onto the out list, it’s not binary the way you assert.

Think Conte has Levy hypnotise, the way we’re working. Zaniolo fills an Eriksen type hole, while being more a Conte midfielder, is my gut. If we can get NDombele off books in a swap for a player Conte likes Paratici should take the best truffles and wine to Florence…

I don't see things changing much tbh....

- The replacement player they wanted is off the menu.
- 50m has been refused re: Skriniar, so us offering the same amount for a diff. player make no difference if their motivation is balancing the books.

Inter needed to sell a player to meet loan requirements this summer - that's not changed (although owner lost a court case costing him 250m 2 days ago might add more pressure)

Inter have been negotiating with PSG for over a month over Skriniar and got nowhere - they either need to continue (but that's like banging their head against a wall) or they change the player they sell and club they are negotiating with.

One option is Bastoni the other is Martinez ........ others won't raise the money they want ....... although I did estimate based upon a bank's analysis of Inter's financial situation they might need to sell both Skriniar and Bastoni and replace with both Bremer and Torres (pocketing a difference between buy and sell price of maybe 50m) , but to do that they needed to buy and sell quite quickly.

Clearly if that was their strategy its been torn to pieces now Bremer not available but they may still need to sell two big players ...... including maybe Bastoni ...... so don;t rule it out yet. Window open for 6 weeks still

Harry Maguire

Throwing it out there. Would anybody take a punt on him?

I figure we could get him on the cheap. Maybe £30M. Could even try a swap with Sanchez. He is Prem experienced, English/HG. I think he plays better in a back 3 and could play CCB & LCB. Similar to Lenglet he is good someone that's gone from being viewed as a marquee player but now undervalued due to their club being a shit show.

You know how you threw it out there...pretty sure it was hurled back.

I thought they had to raise some money and ease their wage bill to balance the books which is why skriniar -> Bremmer made sense for them or am I wrong?

My point was simply that to raise money; there's little benefit to them selling a CB for 50m (i.e. Bastoni) and replacing them with one of a similar value (i.e. Bremer)....

Skriniar for upwards of 70m vs Bremer made more sense on that front.

Of course, if Spursidol Spursidol is now also thinking about other sales that they may feel inclined to make (eg Martinez) then that's a spiraling matter, but if we're talking selling in key positions, the price of any necessary replacement is just as pivotal as the price of the outgoing player.
