Leicester have rejected a £15m bid from Monaco for Boubakary Soumare as they want to recoup more of the £23m they spent on the 23-year-old French midfielder last summer. (Mail)
The Foxes have to sell players before they can buy, so may consider offers for England midfielder James Maddison, 25, Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho, 25, and Belgium full-back Timothy Castagne, 26. (Telegraph - subscription required)
Spurs apparent interest in Maddison is well publicised, although I must admit my doubt as to whether he can handle the pressure of being a star at Spurs, with all the temptations of London as well.
I's be tempted to look at Castagne, who we passed on (then at Atalanta) to sign Aurier (a mistake I thought at the time) who can cover both right wing back and left wing back, who would be a better fit as wing back than either Royal or Doherty, and be better competition to Spence. No Reece James but a pragmatic choice.

Funny some of these articles. This isn’t the 80s. If a premier league player wants to party in London, and lives near Leicester, his driver will Bentley him to the club and wait outside for him, or he might chopper over. Perhaps take a private jet to Crete for the weekend.

If Spurs do get into negotiations I hope they do proper due diligence on his 'outside football activities' - we don't want to find ourselves buying another Dele or Lingard
