I did say £70m initially, £65m seems the going rate, homegrown and coming off a very good season.

Villa slapped a £100m price tag on Grealish and it was met.

Bit different though..... That was a 'steer clear' release clause that they hadn't expected to be met.

It shouldn't set the bar as far a price-tags go.

That said, one can expect Lester to drive a hard bargain as they're used to selling for top whack.

Even 70m would be ok in my view. One of the best AM’s in the league who can genuinely play multiple positions in attack and midfield. We would want 70-80m at a min for Maddison.

Kane, Son, Kulusevski, Richarlison and Maddison would be a stunning attacking set up.

The vast majority of his games for Lester have been him playing through the middle.

He played just 101 EPL mins on the RW last season and got 1 assist.

Just cos he can play there; it doesn't mean it's his primary position.

He got a goal and assist in his last game playing on the right v Soton, and another 2 assists and goal from right v Watford.

Maybe not his primary position but has shown recently he can play there, and Chelsea are looking for similar kind of attacking players as us (after all we both wanted Raphinha).
