I'm not writing him off. But I will be happily amazed if Chadli is a player we want come next season. Ordinary at best.
I think you're completely wrong Audere. Chadli needs to settle but his close control is probably better than anyone else in the squad from what I've seen. With the score line already settled, I thought he was a lot calmer when he came on against Tbilisi and had his head up the whole time. Stuck to the left wing and got two assists... Did a shit load more than Siggy did in 60 mins, that's for sure. 6 key passes for Chadli yesterday.

Much like Holtby, once he's worked out his teammates he'll be a useful player for us.

I agree, but I'd still like to see us bring in another young LW prospect such as Griezmann (or Ljajic if he'll man up and come to the Prem) for rotation purposes. Sorry Siggy :/

Well we're going to (hopefully) end up with Lamela and Townsend as left footers and Chadli and Lennon as right footers. With others able to deputise, I kind of think that's all there's room for in this reduced squad that AVB is going for. Whoever we get in for AM will most likely be able to play across the wings as well though.

This is partly why I don't want him anywhere near the England squad. I remember when Lennon used to do this, then went to his first World Cup and got told to pass the ball to the senior players rather than take whoever it is on. I couldn't care less if they lose the ball 2/3 times taking someone on, it is worth it for that 1 time where they leave them for dead.

yes, but if he isnt giving the ball to fat frank and stevie me, how else are they going to get their headlines?

If Andros keeps playing this way, I don't see Lennon ever becoming first choice over him. Andros is so much more versatile.

It explains why England have been so shit for so long. Regardless of who they bring in on the periphery, the remit is; give it to Lampard / Gerrard / Rooney (because you aren't good enough) and you end up with the same players, doing the same thing and failing the same as they did before!
