Like Lenglet will be a stop gap until we can get our main target (Zaniolo) in.
Smart work by Paratici.
Love how he has completely restructured our scouting and transfer business strategy.

Not sure he'd be a stop gap.

I think if we sign him, it'd be for about €18,000,000, which is a snip for a player of his quality. It'll then allow us to send Gil out on loan too.

He's just started following Romero and Kane on instagram now, too.

Just put on the Sampdoria vs Atalanta game from the weekend and he was subbed on in the 84th minute. Make of that what you will
That was exactly the time Paratici called their chairman, Antonio Percassi, and let them know Spurs may be interested in him...so Percassi ordered Gian Gasperini to take him off to "save" him

Any new first team player coming in now would be Player no 8.#

I'm guessing the last time we signed 8 or more players was when Frank Arnesen signed a large number of players to completely re-vamp both Spurs first team and reserves in one window - not sure anyone worked out whether some of players were signed for first team or reserves though.

That's going back almost 20 years to summer 2004 ! And 'Frankie's Funtime Friday's' !

That Twitter account has 8k followers only

I'm guessing that tweet is the sole reason that people think we are signing this fella?

Atalanta bought him for about 12m in 2019, now only a year left on contract.

Based on the above, surely a deal to be done which won't cost the earth - wonder if Winks has thought about playing in Italy ?

Plays on left but shoots with both feet, free kick specialist - scored his first Atalanta goal v ManCity in CL in 2019. Played over 100 Serie A games scoring 22 goals.

He hardly ever plays on the left? ACM or ARM mostly from what I've seen.
