I like Dean Henderson a lot so when he comes back from his Forest loan I wouldn't mind him here. But Lloris is still playing at a high level so not a priority and he'd want to be first choice, so..

He's a player you'd probably take on the cheap because of that hope that United are a mess & there's the Dortmund level potential there still, but no way you'd want him for the wages/fee he'd cost. People will say 'oh it's the Bundesliga' but his record in the UCL was brilliant .. remember him scoring a beauty vs Barcelona.
12/18 months ago he was considered untouchable for most clubs...... Bit like Bellingham is now.

He was probably in that top 5 list of big young talents for a while. Hit 17 goals 16 assists in the league in 19/20, which at his age was just silly. Looked like he had everything to be a modern inverted winger, nowadays he looks scared to take a man on.

Apart from one game, he's always looked a shell of that player for England too.
It's funny as the WC draws closer, our squad feels increasingly thinner all of a sudden. Frustrating cos you just know Gary won't risk including any fresher faces this close to the tournament now.
Not confidence for the WC, tbh. Feels like we don't have many players who are in good form or a settled team like we did going in to the Euros. Probably the end of the Southgate era after an early knockout, but eh .. we can dream.
I'd like to see Eze, Maddison, Toney & a few others be given bigger roles but yeah .. won't happen.
