Gill for Son tonight. Sons impact cost us more than Lloris on Sat….. can’t pass a ball 10 yards? Get in the bin

Kulu is such a big loss for us, we need a footballer in the middle or final third. Too many anti footballers in our 11 who treat it like a hand grenade. If you play a football abortion like Royal, you need to offset the complete lack of control somewhere else

Thank fuck Lucas is injured

not confident at all away to this lot. Lose and could be curtains for us already in this group as we would pretty much need to win all our other games. Obviously doable, but will be difficult. Lloris playing like a calamity cunt. Emerson Royal likely to start. Haven’t played well as a team all season. Doesn’t look good.

By any means we need to win..

At half-time Saturday we looked set for at least a draw and then did our normal self implode. Always leadership and lack of.

We have to be on it and try and play like a side who believe in their ability.

Whatever is still missing needs to be found and tonight would be a good start.

No doubt we remain a conundrum and that's more than supposedly just adding quality in whichever area.

I don’t think we’ve played genuinely well in a European away game since Dortmund in 18/19. Yes we got the result against Ajax but that was pure football chaos.

These players are still soft and too easily intimidated by big occasions and atmospheres. We have got to win this game convincingly otherwise I think our season is going to start unravelling. A defeat would be our third away loss in a row, our second in 3 CL matches and with Brighton away on Saturday I think we would be in big trouble.

no the last one for me had the same value of a july friendly
I meant the last most important match of the season and also of spurs future and the next most important match of the season and also of spurs future.

Your post is ridiculous hyperbole, as Conte said, the game tonight is "not decisive, but an important game". Just that, no more no less. It's daft to suggest it defines Tottenham Hotspur's future.

Today’s game is very important for us qualifying from the group. A second defeat would be devastating, we need points on the board. Based on what I saw in the first two games of the group we are a long way from being guaranteed to qualify. We were beaten easily by Sporting away and only beat Marseille at home because they lost a man.

To fail to exit this group would be a huge blow and a major failure after all the hard work we did to get here. We can’t keep embarrassing ourselves in Europe if we want to take the next step. We are in danger of becoming a posh West Ham with the types of teams we keep losing to in Europe.

Conte made a point of it in the press conference. Mura, Zagreb, Pacos, Vitesse, Zagreb, Sporting, all those humiliations came in the last 18 months. It has to stop.

Isn’t it a bit stupid to be so publicly showing where the team is, both from a security and disruption perspective? Maybe it’s a decoy bus… if we were that cunning.
Mate the bus is driving along the road.

Who knows where the hell it stopped. I just took a picture as it was passing by.

I'm not going to jeopardise the team more than I need to. We have Emerson to do that and my terrible away record 😂

As I said, as Conte said, it's obviously very important. However, the season is only two months' old, there will hopefully be plenty more crucial games. Its the most important game until the next most important game and so on. No more no less.

And in any event, its ridiculous to say it's the most important match in Tottenham Hotspur's future.

Of course the “most important match for our future” is hyperbole but we are in danger of becoming a joke team in Europe. Honestly I don’t think anyone in Europe is afraid to play us right now.

We're "in danger if becoming a joke team in Europe" because we lost away to Sporting?

Get a grip.

Our last 9 away matches in Europe:

Sporting: lost 0 - 2
Mura: lost 1 - 2
Vitesse: lost 0 - 1
Rennes: drew 2 - 2
Pacos: lost 0 - 1
Zagreb: lost 0 - 3
LASK: drew 3 - 3
Ludogorets: won 3 - 1
Antwerp: lost 0 - 1

So yeah, we are in danger of becoming a joke. The last two years we have lost to some of the worst teams in UEFA.

Know nothing of Frankfurt. Is it really so dodgy that Spurs fans could be in trouble?

That's two of our group then as the same has been said of Marseille. I say that, Tottenham has had it's fair share of trouble I guess.

most of these match it was the players fault we lost (not including sporting ) the second 11 were picked to do a job and they just didn't put the effort in that was need,
the first 11 were picked for EPL games then the second 11 got the cups and europe and mant of the second 11 players just were not bothered

"But if I don't up the stakes, how will I care?!"

We're doing the pundits job, just earlier and shitter.

It’s been said for years that we need a decent vocal captain which should never be a keeper
