Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Anyone who thinks this is about the manager... seriously, giving up hope. The only thing that matters in today’s football is MONEY. The fellas who are coping with “doing it the right way”, it’s not going to happen. The league will be dominated by the clubs who will pump most money, consistently. There’s a reason why Chelsea, Man City and a bit of Liverpool have dominated the league in the last 10 years.

It is what it is. We have absolutely no chance of winning the league whilst there are cheat codes. The only way we could stand a chance is if we get the same cheat codes. With ENIC it’s not gonna happen.

For me today was the final straw in “doing it the right way” bullshit. It’s obvious what’s the direction football is going. The only thing left remaining is that we get taken over by some rich fella who doesn’t give a shit about money and spends as much as it takes to give Spurs some trophies.

Ten Hag and Potter where the alternatives for a club with a forward looking vision and limited funds. They are now gone, other than Poch or maybe taking a risk on managers like Gallardo we are out of options.

There's always managers coming off the rank.

(Potter was quite open about the fact he'd only leave Brighton for a top 4 job.... At the time; we weren't a top 4 team.)

Sanchez and Dier were utter dogshit as a pairing today, the only surprise was that Dier was worse than Sanchez.

Continuing to stick with Emerson is just going to boil my piss.

I won't comment on Hugo's fuck ups, as he was our only decent player on Wednesday.

Yes, but we 0 points in the last two games is poor.

We need to win Wednesday and then regroup.

Get to the World Cup break in the top 4 or 5 and it's fine but these losses are painful.

Conte has a challenge and let's hope he is up for it. If he is he will drop players who are not doung what they should at this stage.
Vital now to bounce back, can't argue that, but my response was to the fact a lot are calling for the managers head, when we are still in a very good position, and also with glimpses of good play not long back.

It has been one week (!) since we deliviered a perfect second half, and teared Everton to pieces.

We knew from before a few players aren't up for it, and this has been displayed again last two games. Let us start with replacing them, not the proven, excellent manager.

Patience..

It is, but for some clubs like City, Chelsea it’s small fry. I mean worst that happens is we continue to build the squad, Conte leaves but we have a decent squad for the next manager.
We'd have to find another manager willing to play shit, dour football to have a good squad. Oh and let's wait and see who is here next year

This is the same Conté that was getting handjobs on this forum at the end of last season. Very little has changed other than that a couple of players, Sonny in particular, are going through (hopefully, temporary) drops in form.

But, basically, it’s the same football. It was the football that we expected, the football he played at Chelsea and the football we played on the run that saw us put together 10 straight home wins.

But also needs to learn how to change things up when we have been worked out.

So teams around us have adapted.

Which demands him to adapt.

Either he does or we fail.

It's not exactly rocket science.
