Any really who have real intent to win stuff & don’t make as many mistakes as our bunch or would rather we relocated to east London. Ones who invest more than ours & don’t think Jose still got it or treat managers like they did jol. It’s a low bar.

So are Liverpool owners better or not? Or you going to keep swerving.
yeah I'd say they are, the point is Liverpool are just like us and feel their aging squad hasn't been properly invested in and Klopp hasn't been backed.

go figure eh!

& why rule out city or Newcastle. Because they better than ours?

So Liverpool is your answer or are you going to keep swerving?

really?

What about Balotelli, Steffan Savic, Javi Garcia, Matija Nastasic. Jack Rodwell , Scott Sinclair, Maicon, Stevan Jovetic, Martín Demichelis, Mangala, Wilfried Bony, Fernando, Nicolás Otamendi, Delph, Patrick Roberts,

So many great City decisions.............
The difference is that they can afford to write off their mistakes. It doesn’t cripple them for years. Some of these bits were tactical: to increase homegrown quota or just keep other teams from getting them — they were never going to be integral to the first team.

What is wrong with you all. Personally it hits me so hard after a defeat that it is usually some hours before I want to even read about it. Today was Lloris’s fuck ups day. Son should have scored early on but we competed. We lost but are still 3rd which is not a disaster. Now us not the time to turn on the team/Manager / those running the club. You fool yourselves that you are just having a go at ENIC but it is the whole club that gets hurt.
True fans will stand together with the club as whilst Managers can be sacked overnight, owners cannot sell up overnight. Just look at the disruption at Chelsea last season when change of ownership is taken
perhaps this should go in the Conte thread but I have not read what is being said there but numerous players are no doubt being slated.
I really am not sure I can read anymore of this tonight as it is too depressing..

That's really what the oil money gives you. The power to quickly rectify any mistakes and buy more players to replace the shit ones. We can't do that, hence our shit £42M centre-back is still here and playing nearly 6 years later.

We can't write off our poor buys as quickly as City and neither can anybody else.

everyone was saying good depth etc, we needed first team players
i said it during the summer, got the disagrees, our window was not good enough
hell where was the 150 mill
Oh my days!

I remember the more fanatical ENIC supporters crawling out the woodwork and waving their cocks in my face all over the forum when that news first broke.

It was like Daniel Levy had turned into sheikh mansour and all their pent up desires could finally be released.

We'll look back on those times with some nostalgia in years to come :harrylol:

& they were loving the idea of doing things the wrong way all of a sudden. I for one was shocked they did a 180 on previous stances…. Again

Are you kidding?
This is a club who have clearly gone back massively under current ownership.
At least you can’t say that about Spurs!

We're talking right now? Then yeah.

I prefer their current philosophy. Youth are being given a chance, the football they play is easier on the eye & their investment has been focused on exciting to watch, young footballers. They've got loads wrong in the past but in the here and now? I'd swap.

Our focus currently is on 'winning' managers (without the us actually winning anything part) who play outdated football for big pay packets, aside from when we went dull & cheap under Nuno. I can sort of accept not winning stuff (although it sucks) as long as it's not a chore to watch us play.

yeah I'd say they are, the point is Liverpool are just like us and feel their aging squad hasn't been properly invested in and Klopp hasn't been backed.

They're a bit fucking thick though, absolutely obsessed with net-spend. The vast salaries and bonuses they pay their players isn't relevant, they just harp on about how clubs like Brighton have out spent them ignoring the fact they sign far cheaper players and pay them a fraction as much.

Keep swerving what? Yes I think Liverpools are way better. Won cups & CL & league.
Are you going to answer it or not? So weird you refuse to.
Literally already posted above

Well I am glad we agree liverpools owners are better than ours!
Yeah many Liverpool fans are unhappy they haven’t carried on investing & it’s caught off with them hence them looking dodgy this season. I think I would agree with that in terms of signings in midfield for example. But they spend a lot on wages & have made some big buys too. But not enough to keep up with city.
But they still have domestic cups, a CL & league title to weaken the blow! Pretty good hey.

From the top 6? Chelsea, Woolwich & Liverpool.

Loads from the rest of the league if they had ENIC money. Lots of clubs with a way stronger focus on recruitment who focus on at least giving the fans attractive football.
And the point is their fans mostly hated their owners KronkeOUT was big for the scum and the scousers don't like FSG!

This is my point we don't exist in isolation.
every fucking fanabase thinks their owners should buy more.
