I think Skipp has to start, just to spell Hoijberg or Bentancur, who have been more epic than that wall in Game of Thrones. Sessingnon has to start and get tight to Salah. If Kulusevski is fit I'd start him in a three with Kane and Lucas.

If Sess can just do that and forget about anything else he’s worth a shot

Agree about Skippy
He looks hungry like Gil
That’s what we need

3-5-2 is my guess. Lucas and Kulu both to go half a match.

Kane - Lucas
Perisic- Hojbjerg - Bissouma - Bentancur- Emerson
Davies - Lenglet - Dier
Lloris

Skipp, Kulu, Doherty, Sessegnon and Sanchez coming on later to see out the win.

Two draws after an absurd amount of losses. And you are such a literal person sometimes. We have a terrible record against them in the last years.

I don't know what all this is meant to mean?

Are we expected to lose every game we play against Liverpool then?
Do we think Conte is telling the players not to turn up because we don't have a good record against them?

I think sometimes records or bad runs are meant to be broken, good place to start on Sunday

Your post was very absolute...... We were very unlucky not to beat them in both games last year.

It's funny though... Even in our losses, we're pretty much the only team not to get a walloping from a peak-Klopp Liverpool at one point or another.... We usually run them close.

I think we can beat them. But they are always a super game for us. Home or away. How can I make myself more clear?

Like the idea of having Perisic getting on the end of Kulusevski's crosses to the far post, would probably complement each other quite nicely in that front 3

Also quite like the idea of having Kulusevski as an advanced midfield behind Kane and Moura if we go with a 3-5-2 (although probably unlikely this happens)

Will be great to have Kulusevski back!

Trent needs to be got at, and he's shaky and low on confidence defensively. so I don't want to see a 3:5:2

Kulu may get a bench role hopefully, but 'd put Gill up against Trent, watch him dive in on him all game and get sent off. and if not then Peri, with Sess at LWB. Think Perisic would always have him with his crossing from both feet.
Alas I feel were going to make liverpool look like liverpool from 3 years ago for 70 minutes
