I just don’t get why we didn’t start with Doc & Kulu and go for it first half rather than leaking another goal while still asleep. When you’re a goal down there’s always a very good chance you’re going to get a fuck up leading to another. I’ve no issue bringing Royal on if we’re defending a lead. He’s not too bad as a defender.
With 5 subs allowed we should be motoring through teams and then defending a lead if and only if we run out of steam. Kulu couldn’t have managed a full game in all likelihood, but why not at least start with the best XI?

We should be ashamed by how far ahead Woolwich are.
You don't deserve to win football matches when you start like we always do, with such negative tactics. Period.
We aren't a top 4 side based on what we've seen up til now, from us and our direct competition. Woolwich and City miles better, no way one can argue with that. Newcastle playing much better football too. Liverpool had a tough start but they're still a better side. Chelsea having a rough spell cause Potter is messing about (Sterling at LWB?!) but they'll come back in the race for sure...they defo deserved 3 pts against us. Utd always gonna have games like the Villa one today, but they could well finish ahead of us if they find that consistency. All in all I think we're looking like 7th and losing 10-12 ish PL games.
Nowhere near good enough. But what do you expect with such a negative manager and players as short of talent as Sess, Emerson, Lucas...knowing quite a few of our lads also lack the stomach.
So unless the top teams start shitting themselves, having loads injuries etc, and we sign 2-3 big time players in January AND start playing positive footy, I think we're fucked for CL next year

Davies is good as a squad player but by no means is first choice material.
Sanchez is worse than both Dier and Davies.
Emerson is woeful at best.

Sess is weak. He might have a few fans, but in all honesty, he shouldn't be playing in a top 6 club.

Perisic is Great but clearly isn't a 90 minute every game player anymore.
Romero is Great but can't sail, steer and protect the ship alone.

Club needs to go in big for 2 Centre Backs, a creative player in the Maddison mould and a RWB. If Spence can't in ahead of Royal clearly he isn't the answer.
Conte needs to stop picking Dier, Royal, Davies and Sessegnon.
The Syrup is so fanatical about setting us up to be hard to beat that it's fucking up the objective, which is to win. I will concede that he needs wingbacks, proper wingbacks, so it's almost unfair to judge him and his system right now. But will we get wingbacks in January and if not, what is the fucking point of this short term Conte project?
