Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We'll know more by the end of the season, but basing anything on the SK nation team would be foolish.
Maybe, but I guess Don Corleone is probably basing things on a combination of his dire form for Spurs and South Korea. He has been terrible this season and it may be time, controversial as it is, to ask when does bad form stop being just bad form. He has often had periods of indifferent form before but this seems longer than anything before. For me it feels different with him this season. We have played 40% of the PL season and he has literally had a few minutes purple patch against Leicester and that is about it. Sad to see but every dog has it’s day

It's based on his first half of the season.

Have to be open to the possibility of cashing in next summer if he continues this trend. Stylistically he is not the type of player that thrives going into his mid thirties.

At the same time I'm not sure if there's a club out there that would pay enough to tempt Levy into selling.

Giving his age I'd imagine 60m would be the best offer and Levy probs still wants 80-100m so it's more than likely he sees out his contract here. Lets just hope he doesn't go full Dele along the way.

He may well be done, but his past, very recent, work means he earns more time to see if it's just form/confidence/tactical issues.

So many wrote off Kane after an awful half season, don't know why anyone would make the same mistake with Son. Sometimes players just have total off period/seasons then burst back in to life.
Kane’s a generally good footballer with class technique and son is not as smart of a player or as good a passer.

IMO, he may have a game here and there like Leicester, but we need to be willing to rotate him and not give him 12 straight starts when he’s been diabolical in 11 of them.

Kulusevski is too good to drop and richarlison brings pressing and physicality that son doesn’t.

And I don’t think last season was sons best season at all. His best scoring season but he can’t dribble or create his shot anymore.

Here is his successful dribbles that lead to a shot.
2017: 17 (2062 min)
2018: 15 (2317)
2019: 14 (2039)
2020: 8 (2476)
2021: 2 (3114)
2022: 3 (1030)

We can see double the # of dribbles in 50% less time from 2017-19.

His total successful dribbles stats per 90 (success %)
2017: 2.53 (57%)
2018: 1.87 (57%)
2019: 2.74 (57%)
2020: 1.42 (54%)
2021: 1.48 (55%)
2022: 0.79 (and 36% success rate, yikes)

I’m absolutely fine with him being dropped. That happened and then he scored a hat-trick off the bench.

But certainly not going to say he’s done as a footballer due to a period of being crap.

Like I literally just said..... We'll know more come the end of the season.

Writing him off after "40%" of a season is overzealous/fickle given the credit he has (should have) in the bank.

The problem is he is 31. Very few wingers play at a very high level at that age. If they do, you’ll see noticeable signs of decline which we are obviously seeing now with Son. This is what a lot of people were scared of.

Indeed, he's just incredibly streaky, we've been here so many times with him.

Wouldn't surprise me if he hits form in the next few months and bangs in about 15 goals until the end of the season.

Son does seem to be going full Eden Hazard. The chavs shipped him off before it was blatantly obvious he was dropping off a cliff, we have probably not cashed in on time with Son. Sonny is a legend but I think we can do better now, I'd be happy if he came off the bench every week and bagged a hat trick, but he may want more than that.

You can probably count on one hand the amount of people here that wanted to sell him in the summer, so spare us the revisionist clap-trap.

He’s always been a streaky player. Write him off after a poor half season at your peril.
I’m confident he will come good again.
He’s a top player still imo. Just in his worst run of form yet.
