I’d rather Levy and Co just turn around and say that they’re content with us finishing 6th-10th for the foreseeable

Why would they do that?

..........It's obviously not true.

The only time we've finished lower than 6th in 15 years saw the manager sacked.

Prior to that was 8th in Redknapp's first season when he dragged us out of the Ramos-derived relegation fears.

Hincapie, Porro and Ounahi all look decent targets to be fair. Doubt there's much in the Ounahi link. Aggressive, quick, technical defender on the left would be a great benefit to us immediately.. would like us to bring in Hincapie now. Gvardiol and Bastoni aren't coming.

Yeh, pay a bit extra and fast track any of these guys in now if at all possible..... Even if their impact now is minimal they'll be all the more ready to rock next season.

..........As for Ounahi; is he more of the same or something we don't already have?

Only seen him play in the world cup like everyone else tbh. He does seem quite a graceful player, can glide past players and spread play well. I have no issue with buying players like this, whether it's what Conte would want and what our 2-man midfield requires is another story.

I watched a minimal amount of the WC so the Morroco buzz is all 2nd hand for me......

Pretty much a #8 tho, yeh?

Very good but very lightweight
Lmao a player even less ready for the jump to the EPL than Gil....he's the kind of punt Leicester City could take but for Conte no fucking way. The worst kind of tournament buy. He certainly can beat a player but he barley understandswhat he himself is about to do next.. Look at Bissouma struggling to get why the fuck every thing gets recycled till it arrives at the feet of Matthew ficking Doggerty . If Conte has suddenly realised the importance of being able to beat a man and break a line I seriously suggest he recalls a player in.his squad already able to do this to elite oponents if only for 60 mins a match...:tanguyhuh:

This is the main thing for me, I don't go alot I live in Wales but I try to go twice a season.

If they want us to be a level below the elite and a club that develops players show that in the ticket cost
I had a ST last year, and bar the run in was massively underwhelmed. I can shout at the telly and save myself £1300. It was an experience and maybe one day I'll go back, but they don't deserve my cash.

I couldn't justify the expense. It's too much for a poor experience, shiny swanky stadium or not.

We'll wait until the end of the month.
Paratici will do his usual thing of speaking to 3 or 4 players for the same role and then pull the trigger with a few days left.

We'll drop points and go out of another cup while it happens.

Well last January he did get 2 players that effectively rescued the season and got us top 4.

I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt for now, let's see what happens this month.
