I dont think that’s true or fair.Maybe not. But the Levy supporters only ever seem to condemn the abuse one way.
That's how it comes across to me, anyway.
Personal abuse shouldn’t be tolerated and way too much of it happens on this board

There you have itEnic fan boys are fucked up self harming bunch of super cunts .
But Mike Ashley. had he taken over us would not have done as brilliant job as ENIC, likewise the Everton owners as you only have to look at their history at their own clubs... so credit were credit is due to Levy.
The trophy argument is really very pointless, take a look at the previous posts with regards to trophies and you'll find that not many clubs other than the obvious ones win anything. Just a few examples of teams currently in the league, can't be bothered to go through them all
Evertons last trophy - 1995
Aston Villa - 1996
Newcastle - 1955
West Ham - 1980
Leeds United - 1992
Crystal Palace - 1994
The list is endless but apparently its only Tottenham that don't win trophies
Man Utd - massive club
Woolwich - can't argue with their history
Liverpool - Same
Man City - money
Chelsea - Money
The only real exception was Leicester who massively lucked out, you can't tell me their board planned for a Premier League win, so I wouldn't call their owners a raging success.
I'm not even gonna worry about clubs who have won lucky cups i.e Wigan, Birmingham etc as they are now playing in the lower leagues. Hardly call that a success.
hate the shiny headed cunt
our fans are too placid compared to others in making a difference, most fans in that stadium are tourists now
Said it so many times on here I might put it in my profile. They will only sell up when it effects their bottom line.We could put 60k fans outside the stadium and spend hours rioting against ENIC, but they wouldn't budge.
They're imbedded into the club and they're not leaving.
I don't put us in the same bracket, I'm comparing us to them. Those clubs are not small clubs, Aston Villa as a prime example are a big football club and my point is they haven't won a trophy for ages. Hell Leeds United won the League in 1992 but have done nothing since apart from a freak Champions League run... then got relegated due to mismanagement. Imagine Levy did that to this club after the Champions League final? Would never happen because he thinks about the long term future not just short term.So you put us in the same bracket as Everton, Villa, Leeds and West Ham?
No wonder your expectations are so tiny.
If I felt we were in that bracket I'd also be content with a nice stadium, regular top 4 and an overpriced artisan beer.
If you go to the games? I'm sure you realise you are paying higher ticket prices every week than Man Utd, Liverpool & Chelsea? Comparable to Woolwich last I checked.
If we are supposed to be judged alongside the likes of West Ham as per your above post why aren't we paying West Ham season ticket prices?
I give and have given Levy credit for the stadium, but I thought we were building it to kick on as a club and compete for big trophies, not to host NFL and boxing so that ENIC can line their own pockets.
Can I just ask why do you even go and watch the club if you have zero expectation of winning anything? what is even the point?
Villa have won the European cup and Everton have won the league as recently as the 80s whatever about comparisons to us their expectations should be higher than where they are currently. So you put us in the same bracket as Everton, Villa, Leeds and West Ham?

If you look at the history of those clubs their records and trophy cabinets more than match ours. Everton: champions 9 times. Villa: 7 times, throw in a Eurpoean Cup to go with it. Both have a decent number of FA Cups.So you put us in the same bracket as Everton, Villa, Leeds and West Ham?

Anyway that’s none of my business
That’s because many of us aren’t even levy supporters. We are somewhere in the middle, but because we don’t agree with your cult, we are labeled as pro levy.Maybe not. But the Levy supporters only ever seem to condemn the abuse one way.

Yeah, I go to games every week, I pay for a season ticket, I sit with two of my best mates who I grew up with. I enjoy the tradition, meeting up with mates, match dat traditions. Supporting Spurs is not just about turning up demanding trophies, I like the rise of Spurs. I feel glad that Spurs have built the club back up in recent years the proper way rather than just getting an Arab or dodgy Russian takeover.
Football is more about just demanding trophies and spending money, Hell the majority of football clubs in world football don't win trophies. its about the hope, rather than just this boring modern day view of we want a rich owner to turn us into Man City. Boring mate, so bloody boring. I'd rather support the club in the position it is rather than be run by crooks.
A 15-20% runt of remaining ENIC diehards who would never change their stance regardless of what shit the board try and pull and would probably throw themselves in front of a bus heading for Daniel Levy.
I guess that's where we differ then.
Because I would happily have a shiekh in tomorrow if it mean't us operating in the same circles as City. I just want to see this club win a big trophy before I die.
Well there's definitely a debate to be had about the history, character and portfolio of a certain Mr Joe Lewis.. Boring mate, so bloody boring. I'd rather support the club in the position it is rather than be run by crooks.
Football is an emotional sport, the reason some might be resorting to insults is they feel like certain parts of our fanbase are holding the club back with their passivity and lack of ambition.Even when you’re trying to be reasonable and fair you still write stuff like this…
Do you not see how this kind of language is problematic and misrepresentative?
Anyway I can’t keep doing this either.
Love the spurs!
COYS
The asking price seems a bit unreasonableI guess even the most ardent pro-ENIC fan would be excited if this happened - but it's not happening, or at least isn't right now.
If there's a Sheikh who wants to step up there's nothing stopping them. In the words of Delia, where are you? Let's be having you!
To be fair, I don't disagree. There's corruption in everything you do in life to a certain extent. In football, I guess I just view ENIC as a slightly less corrupt organisation then some of the new owners that have arrived in the gameWell there's definitely a debate to be had about the history, character and portfolio of a certain Mr Joe Lewis.
But maybe that's for another thread.
