When you see the signings of:
Spence, Sarr, Udogie, Rodon, Gil, Kulu, then see targets like Hincapie, the plan for after this generation of squad is actually pretty clear from Paratici and tbh of those Sarr, Gil, and Udogie already look like good spots. Maybe we get to see what Spence and Rodon could look like next season.

The big question is the mid to short term. Other than Bentancur and maybe Richarlison we have problems.Bissouma could still work too. Targets like Drossard or Danjuma are mid table club targets.

I'd take a 6 month Danjuma loan to rotate with Son instead of buying Trossard on a permanent deal if I could be sure the club would go out and find Son's successor at LW over the summer. Don't see Son being dropped, but I'd have Trossard, Danjuma or Richarlison in the team over him at the moment.

The problem with backing Conte is in one window he wants to spend a record amount for any club to ever have been spent. That wouldnt happen even if we had Qatari money. Instead of realizing that and either bowing out or at least saving his legacy by trying to be flexible for the last months of his contract, Conte is being a baby.
Yeah and heaven forbid we actually scrutinise Conte a little bit. We aren't worth as we're Tottenham and hes won stuff elsewhere. Its irritating, but thats how he acts.

He does need replacements and the same type of players are letting him down as they let older managers down but he's not performing with what he's got. This season is honestly like Leicester all over again, it's there for the taking if a team wants to get a proper run of wins together.

Any person in the world that thinks you can give Conte as much money as we can afford and he's guaranteed to win us the league or champions league just isn't living in reality in my opinion. Great manager, among a sea of other great managers and other clubs also competing with us who have deeper pockets and bigger legacies. So you can understand Levy being nervous about giving Conte the money to do it when he's seen us almost get there with Poch on a shoe string. He's always going to lean towards that method than the riskier method that could produce the same outcomes.

So why did we hire him then?

Again, on Levy. Every single dickhead on the High Road knows how Conte operates. Why don’t our board?

On paper we could have a fun team with a progressive manager:

Lloris
Spence - Romero - Lenglet - Perisic
Sarr -- Bentancur
Kulu -------------- Kane --------------- Gil
Rich
We desperately need energy in this team. You would get that with Spence, Sarr, Bentancur, Gil, Kulu and Rich.
I agree and unfortunately we're reaching an awkward stage - the proven winner in Conte has a method to win matches but he doesn't have the players he needs to get there with this method. He needs money.

What the team needs right now is a modern approach that a lot of the clubs around us are benefitting from, but we've been sucked of it ever since poch was sacked.

Reinforcements are clearly not coming, it's mid Jan and not a sniff. Just let Conte go now and stop delaying the inevitable.
