Does that say more about conte than anything else? Everyone keeps going on about his emotional, May be misses his family, some people he was close have died, doesn’t really want to be her, etc. yet his happy to stay to collect his money. Surely a man of honour and some integrity would leave now after coming to an amicable agreement. But no he wants the money which is more to him than all of the above.
What was wrong with bissouma ffs? Everyone here wanted him and so would have many other clubs. At £25M a top quality proven CM what’s wrong with that? Or is it bcos his not from one of his familiar hunting grounds and that he can’t be arsed to coach him to be a player that he wants. Bit like spence situation. Don’t think he wants to work with him. All this from a so called elite manager. Bollocks the guy just can’t be arsed unless the players are all handpicked by for his “system”.
I think they are being coached to be negative and there must be a fear of making a mistake…

Doherty never want to take on his man and get into the box ( maybe his legs have gone. Sessegnon is definitely too afraid)
Some things are coaching, our patterns of play are far too predictable, no fluidity or unpredictability to us. We're very functional and it worked for a while but when it isn't going for you its just boring and sucks the joy out of the game.
But I don't think Conte is training wing-backs to be negative. He wants them bombing forward and overlapping, they just don't have the capacity for it. Sessegnon is meek and predictable, Doherty is just straight up unathletic, Zinchenko had him for breakfast.
They're not good enough footballers for a top 4 chasing team. Not good enough to start regularly, anyway.
Not saying anything is wrong with him. I wanted him but i'm saying there's no point in according like Conte wanted every player in the summer window
We had plenty of those fan boos under Jose as well. Conte in their eyes can do no wrong.
Duck that he hasn’t won anything and his football stinks the place out. Managers on far less play better football with less quality players.

Its been morale-destroying as a fan watching him bench potentially exciting players for such long periods of time, all the while serving up lethargic and stale football. I can only imagine how tough its been for some of the younger players in the squad.
Levy did this though- he didn't seriously think Conte was going to be such a dick about having things his way. But he signed him anyways. And now Levy is sheepishly playing chicken to avoid having to blow everything up and admit he made a huge fuck up.
Levy probably wants to pretend none of this is happening, and for us to just scrape by in the EL spots til the summer, when more of it can be quietly swept under the rug of normal end-of-contract things rather than a midseason blow-up scramble. The man is a cheapskate as well as a coward.
Have you seen his lineup selection?
Can we decide if we have bought well or not? Based on that moody wig we don’t have the quality.
He’s earning £15 million quid a year. Let that sink in. You’d swear he was some migrant worker working in the gulag the way the snowflakes are going on about all the hardship he’s enduring.

I think there was hope for Doherty to at least be a relatively strong #2 (G&A per min under Conte last season were crazy!); but sadly for hinm & us that cuntTarget fucked that up right up...... Just that wrong stage of his career to get mashed up like that.
To be fair he's been transferred to Argentina at least twice too.
Difficult to understand
Why is he going on about his that shit? How is levy , patrici or medical dept gonna answer why we have played like thirds in every fiery half this season. Why haven’t scored a goal in the first half fir 14 ganes? Why we have let in 2/2+ goals in nearly all the last 10 games?
His a great deflector and BS excuses.
Also why hasn’t he coached the team to pass and move, close down, press and basically defend a lot better?
I think that was just a hot streak where the stars aligned for us as a team and we were scoring the half chances regularly but yeah ... it was unfortunate and killed all his momentum. As a backup RWB he's not awful as he understands the role well, its just he lacks the tools to hurt teams.
Emerson out & Doherty + Porro would be a big upgrade to our options.
