There is two options for the club to be successful on the pitch from this point.
1 back Conte with 300-400m and get him the elite players he needs.
2 get a ‘’project manager’’ and start getting good young players to build a high press attacking system. This is obviously the cheaper option, works but takes time and requires a clear thought out plan from the board. This will mean selling Kane/Son and most players 28 or over.
Conte done very little in my opinion to warrant further money being spent towards his preferred choices, much as he seems to curry favour from a few posters.
My real concern is that whichever manager replaces him will also need some players of quality, and who may be able to get more out of them than Conte could, so I hope we don't cut off our nose to spite our face.
We are lacking but no way as much as cry baby Conte makes out.
So we know we are not doing 1 and we will poorly execute 2. Levy in my opinion has learned nothing in 23 years, our most successful period under ENIC was the Poch project. Since then he has hired two cheque book managers, managers well known for this trait. However it appears to me he has never intended to turn the club into a cheque book club . This is cognitive dissonance on a colossal scale , cheque book manager on project manager finance, This all feeds back to my belief Levy thinks he is a hell of a lot smarter than he is , that he can get one over on anyone and everyone .There is two options for the club to be successful on the pitch from this point.

Call me extremely naive but I'm very confident Porro at the very least will be a Spurs player by Feb 1
to hire who?Yea, I am just trying to imagine if we'd have had the balls to act out and sack Conte within hour after the Leeds game concluded
Tottenham, meanwhile, are making a long-term succession plan for captain Hugo Lloris and are also interested in Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
Oblak is ready to move to the Premier League but would cost significantly more than Raya.

Chelsea to rival Tottenham for Brentford goalkeeper Raya
The Brentford shotstopper is considered among the best in the Premier League and will be available for a reduced fee in the summerwww.standard.co.uk

Probably cross Trossard off the list anyway

People may think he's average, but he's a lot better than the depth we currently have.

unlikely anything will start moving forward until tuesday after the fulham game , Levy will feel as usual he has a better negoitating position with just a week left to do deals.
meh can have him,
he'd just be a bench warmer for us, as he will for them. We need top quality to challenge son, not more lucas mouras
we'll see.
