Ex-Spurs Player Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So apparently he has been begging Villarreal for a Premier League move the whole window, and that is the reason he is not in Setien's plans. I would hope he is motivated to succeed here. Would be nice if he hit the ground running

At the beginning of the season the "plan" would have been:

- Son = Golden boot awesomeness
- 1 last season from Lucas as the bottom of the pile option.
- We've just bought a versatile ST/Winger for a big sum.
- 6 fwds for 3 positions

......Things change (Son & Lucas); it's not always a merely a case of lack of planning. Rather than being opportunistic; I think we're just trying to solve a problem that didn't exist at the begining of the season.
Maybe your right but you could very well be wrong too ( i hope you are wrong personally)
Son has been a fantastic acquisition for this club and i get a little bit fucked off with the undue criticism the mans getting this season.
Id be more worried about him if he wasnt doing the normal Sonny things we have been used to seeing like getting in the right positions or picking the right pass

Hes just not had a great season thus far but there are 17 more league games for us to go and he is more than capable with his abilities to turn this season around for all the statisticians out there.

After watching documentary footage about him hes going to be his own biggest critic (After his dads laid the law down ofcourse :) ) and he will be 100% committed to writing his own story his way.

You look at his hat trick against Leicester and tell me who (as an attacking winger) could influence a result like that in such a short space of time?????

Salah
Mane
Mahrez
Sterling (in previous seasons at City)
Saka
and maybe Rashford on current form

That is very esteemed company indeed because thats in world football not just the premier league

Every morning the Sun rises

And our Son will rise again

The guy needs to feel the love (much like Conte) as opposed to the hate some of you are giving them right now.

Wrong about what? Thanks to injury and poor form we have been left light in terms of attacking options and have sought some reinforcement...... That's a basic fact.

There's literally no "hate" - not even mild criticsm - in my post........ :deledoubt:

Am surprised we signed this guy- and excited too. I saw a fair amount of him in last year's CL though I haven't watched him at all this year. Pretty sure he will be effective for us, and potentially very good.

Sad for Gil- not sure where this leaves him- but hey, that's life.

Well done Levy. Now get CB/RWB sorted and we'll let you off the plank.

I know next to nothing about this guy but doesn’t he supposedly play on the left? Gil could be still be rotated with Kulu, although I guess he was a natural left winger as well.

Just hope it means we actually start dropping Son now.

Rumour was West Ham wanted him, but David Moyes reneged saying he didn't like his attitude.
Danjuma then heard Moyes was being lined up for Everton job after Lampard and decided he didn't wanna work for Moyes

If that's true that's hilarious. Moyes fucking his new (old) club before he's even got the job.

That entire post was written solely for the godawful, GCSE literature level, attempt at a rousing:

OUR SON WILL RISE AGAIN!

At the end, I'm sure of it...

Another 'Conté ' signing. We've dug deep into the bargin bin this time. 21 GA in 10 games, and our first signing is a Winger? Not a top rated Winger but the understudy of a Winger we sold the first window this season. He hasn't played EPL and comes at a higher price than what we could have gotten Trossard for.

Please tell me I'm dreaming.

We low balled every player we showed interest in. We watched other teams make strides in the right direction and just buried our heads a little deeper in the bargin bin.

If you’re gonna chat shit, at least get your facts right.

Only thing I won’t argue with is your last paragraph.

Done a brief bit of research on this guy, he seems like a btec version of Stevie B.
Played for Bournemouth 47 times and got sold when they were relegated.
Don't expect too much from him, it's another Levy cheap punt.

Research wasn't that good then.

He wasn't sold when they got relegated. He got in the Championship Team of the Year and then a Champions League club bought him and he helped them get to a semi final.
