Not sure anyone on here is relentlessly positive about us.

What is winding me up is the love in for Woolwich today. They could cure cancer and I’d still think they were a shower of cunts.

I can think of a few...

It's borne out of jealousy, not love. When a lot of people think of Spurs its as a front foot team developing young players, playing with flair, nothing held back. We're not that team right now and they are, and its 10x worse because it has them 8 points clear at the top.

It's expected. I bet if we went to a United forum and checked how they were posting when Liverpool were amazing, it would be a whole load of envy. And just like with us, that frustration would be directed towards the owners for not providing the same platform.

95% of this forum would have complained if we brought in Kiwior at centre back. Don't deny it.
Well done for completely missing the point.

They have 3 CBs who are better than all of ours bar Romero. They can afford to make a long-term signing, it's good succession planning.

We desperately need upgrades to 2 out of 3 of our starting CBs so Kiwior would not have been an appropriate signing. Yet not a whiff of anything else happening on that front.

Under Paratici we have spent decent money and on mainly very good players.

Forster (as back up)
Porro Spence Emerson Romero Lenglet Perisic Udogie
Bissouma Bentancur Sarr
Kulusevski Richarlison Danjuma Gil
This season's failings are more down to the World Cup being mid-season, injuries to key players and Conte not managing three games a week very well. Woolwich doing so well does not help things either.
Other than Forster and Emerson, every other signing has been good or an excellent signing .

Under a manager like Poch or Ten Hag the likes of Spence, Bissouma, Sarr, Rich and Gil could have performed much better as they would all have got much more playing time in a system more suitable to their strength.

The circle wank about Woolwich is stronger than usual today. Is it just because a guy on Twitter said they might buy someone?

I can guarantee that if we were in their position, and signed Trossard, it would be horrendous as we should be taking advantage of our position at the top to get the very best players on board.

Then the first sniff of Caciedo, it would be “pay the fucking money” and expect him at the training ground by lunchtime.

Woolwich do it and its ambition. Laughable.
The point is we have been top and have never shown ambition. It has already been demonstrated under Levy.

Okay Woolwich failed with Mudryk because Boehly came in. We are not even been linked with players of his calibre.

Why are Woolwich now all of a sudden Chelsea's financial rival and not us?

Nope. Once again, it's you that has missed the point.

If WE were 8 points clear and we had signed someone who doesn't get into our starting eleven and a young centre back who won't touch our starting eleven, whilst letting a huge Spurs fans sign for our rivals because we couldn't pay the wages, our fans would have complained.

We're actually about to improve our starting eleven and our fans are STILL complaining.

Of that group only 4 start regularly.
Emerson is ridiculed by the fan base.
Porro is a Sporting player.

How is it fair enough that he gets to play in sporting a league cup final, what if he gets injured and messes up the whole deal?

He’s clearly been our number 1 target all window, he should have been playing for us by now instead of us haggling over instalments, just pay the release clause it’s not even that much.
Why has nobody considered the possibility that the player himself wants to play in the final before he leaves and Porro is delaying the deal?

You & your best mate have a good back and forth though .. god knows you need it since nobody else replies to your fucking comments.
Errmm...
