I think I read there was 5 PL clubs interested.
2 things made me laugh:2 years time, ex Spurs coach Antonio Conte, having just won the trebble with Althelico Bilboa, says "I could have had this Hinchliff kid from Moenchengladbach, but Levy would only pay £7m, and they wanted an outrageous £12m"
"So I got the sack"
"And now that kid is worth £75m and going to Arsnil"
I get what you're saying but he shouldn't be behind Lucas to be honest, the kid has bags more talent. A manager that proactively uses the 5 subs per game would also go a long way in keeping him at Spurs and developing him in the EPL. There's really no reason why him and Deki couldn't have alternating starts, subs earlier in the game.Hmm in reality he is now the 6th choice attacker with Lucas fit again. He was never going to play.
If he can go to Sevilla and play most weeks and have a strong second half to the season it helps us.
It either boosts his pedigree in Europe and we can recoup the money we spent or he comes back next season and takes Lucas' squad place.
I would not be surprised if this has some connection to the Zainolo stuff...
There is at least one reason: Deki is levels above him.I get what you're saying but he shouldn't be behind Lucas to be honest, the kid has bags more talent. And since we arent playing him anyway, good to get him some gametime. Hopefully he will be ready for big things next season.
I think people are getting a bit ahead of themselves based on a good game vs Palace. Don't get me wrong I rate his skills and want to see him develop but he needs consistent minutes to work the deficiencies out of his game and going to a good side in Spain is a better chance for him to do that than getting the shit kicked out of him in the champo for instance or sitting on the bench here every game hoping for the odd 15 minute cameo. He really needs to go and shine on one of these loans, force whoever the manager is in the summer to look at him as a real squad depth option as opposed to "emergency cover".I get what you're saying but he shouldn't be behind Lucas to be honest, the kid has bags more talent. I’d rather they go and play consistently to continue their development than get a few minutes here and there.
