Whether we get Porro or not Royal and Doherty are still ahead in the pecking order so makes total sense for him to get game time with a view to seeing if a) Conte is still here in the summer, and therefore whether a new manager might play him over the 2 previously mentioned or b) Conte stays and decides he's seen enough from the loan move to take a punt on Djed in the first team next season. Keeping him to sit in the reserves for 6 more months doesn't make sense to me.
i agree with this if we had actual footballers in front of him,but we dont. we have a midfield that lacks quality on the ball and with son LW you also lack a quality ball player. you put dier and davies there you end up with a serious lack of football in the team which is why its a hard watch.
i dont think lenglet has been as bad as some have made out on here. yea hes had some bad moments. i think hes offered more than davies and dier have all year. im also sick of seeing the same faces show their incompetence year after fucking year. its beyond tedious.

Levy should have fired Conte for the disastrous last several months we have had. Conte has been a disgrace. Levy has fired managers for less.
Because an injury to either Emerson or Doherty means we have no other option at RB, although I suppose you could chuck Tanganga there.
You can’t have three players for every position, that would need a squad of 33…. Conte won’t play him even if those two are injured, Perisic would play there

Squad will have been bolstered by all our January signings. Dajouma, Spence, Romero are all quality signings that go toe to toe with our rivals best. I really think we’ve got a chance at winning it this year.
