Then lot of youngsters will return or join - Gil, Spence, Udogie, Scarlett. Just hoping that we stop hiring such boring pieces of shit who have roughly half of season in them before inevitable collaps happens.

Couldn’t agree more! Add white and Alfie to that list. Just watching bar codes and the way they came out b soton with crowd behind them is chalk and cheese to how we play. I see sky have Ginola as pundit. He would have been a club purchase under conte. We needed a quality CB who could play in a 2 or 3 not another rwb. It’s like conte defies the rest of the football world and thinks all creativity comes from WB. Said it before Kane and Son has got him out of jail like under Jose. If it wasn’t for them two his tactics would have us in relegation zone as we generally create f all!

Oh but he will pathetically be exposed going forward now.

He will have Perisic and Porro on wingback position. But given how we are set up, how shit we are all around moving the ball quickly, it is quite obvious that his only plan will fail.

And then in 5 months we will have 7th most expensive wingback in football history and no position to play him in. What a brilliant planning and strategy, ah!

Conte said he is happy with his CB options.

And he surely seems happy with CM duo of PEH and Bentancur as well. Which is fucking tragedy.

Oh well, I'll finish my 3rd gin and tonic and go off to bed. Hope I won't have nightmares about this slow and shit football we have to endure. Only hope is that Levy will realize at least half way through that sacking of this idealess old turd will cost only half of the 7,5 mil that it would now. Ofc by then young prospects in Gil and Spence are still shipped out. And we will play with tall, strong and athletic rugby lads like Royal.

You seem to be under the misapprehension that Conte has any control of transfers at all. Do you not think he wants these players and actually wants players like Dier and Davies in his defence rather than actual top draw defenders? Surely you can’t think that, it makes zero sense.

Conte identifies areas to strengthen, discusses the targets offered to him and the club signs what fits the budget.

How people can think he identified the need for top class CB(s) in the summer and think he’s really happy with what he has now???

He probably thought attacking players were more important and was probably right when regularly had no attackers on the bench

As you can see he did score 11 goals. But 9 were against the worst teams in the league. Zero against the top 4. He was a good squad player just like Carlos Vinicius who also scored 10 goals while barely ever starting.

you say that but he was picking emerson at RWB, over at the very least 1 better RWB. he also wont drop dead weight son for love nor money when he has had better options on the bench.

if he realises how shit dier and davies are he would be making sure they are upgraded. you dont need a world class CB to upgrade them, you just need a decent premier league defender. that would make a massive improvement to the team.

theres still a lot to play for, but its hard to be excited when you know youre going to be going into big crunch games with dier, davies and lloris.....good teams will be licking their lips at that.

Conte literally said Dier can become one of the best in the world in his position. Like Mourinho, he loves Dier. He also wanted Lenglet, and almost certainly pushed for the board to loan him out as a stopgap so we'd try for Bastoni again.

Mourinho has no choice but to love dier since he has been denied quality CB signing every window.

Meanwhile conte is the most backed manager since poch, he has no excuse to not perform

Really? Kulusevski and Lucas were injured for ages as was Richarlison who was still match fit. Gil played well for 60 minutes v palace. Who else exactly was he going to pick?
