Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He can 100% move into midfield though, Rooney and Lampard were still getting 10+ goals a season in their mid 30s.

Khm... Rooney?
10+ goals seasons?
Mid 30s?

Dafuq?

Last double digit season was 17-18 for Everton (he was 33).
Then in all comps he got over 10 in 15-16, but in EPL last double digit season was 14-15 (he was 30).

His career finished while being 33.
So you have to be confusing him with someone else.

Pretty sure that Kane at 33 is still at his peak, while Rooney was finished.

Some one said this guy was dead and we shouldn't laugh.
I googled it and found this...

So of the 3 regulars, all 3 threatened violence (obtained peoples addresses) 1 is banged up , one is dead. Fuck me - how was/is that shit allowed to be broadcast?

Cheers for the heads up it’s down but you raise an excellent topic

When you see compilations, you get the feeling he has absolutely no doubt in his mind at all that everything he hits will go in.
He just has that look of total confidence.

Please. Stop all this airbrushing of football history. Kane does not have a couple of years or so to beat the supposed record. Shearer of course is complicit. His record means nothing. James Peter Greaves is the highest scorer in TOP FLIGHT ENGLISH FOOTBALL. 357 goals. That is the target, not the Sky target that Shearer and the other liars adhere to, for obvious narcissistic reasons. Kane is way off, as was Shearer and neither could lace Jimmy’s boots.

I’m not sure he’s as good as Shearer or Rooney in their prime either but he’s certainly in the mix. His longevity easily exceeds Rooney who was often awful from 27 onwards coupled with flashes of class. Shearer was a blockbuster of a striker before injuries but Kane is better than Shearer at the same age.
He's better than Alan Shearer ever ever was.

Lots of folk are not ready for this but lots of prime 90s British football was terrible with some truly awful sides. Alan Shearer scored goals brilliantly as a football he couldn't get near Kane or Rooney

Why is his not the record then? Genuine question not trolling

I mean you're right but the debate is about Premier League's all time top scorer, not top division all time top scorer

You might as well say we’ll just have records for the last thirty years and disregard the other 100+ years. Just re-write history. After all, it’s happening with other cultural activities. In fact, why don’t we lose all the Bill Nicholson era, the push and run etc etc. We only need debate the evah so speshul Premier League. Shame they don’t change the cup stats too as they change the name of them so often. The greatest (fill in sponsor name here) FA/League Cup scorer.
Yeah, that’ll work.

Well yeah that's kinda how it works - the precedent was set when everyone was saying that Shearer set the Prem record so naturally people will be looking at the next player to break such record.

I get your point though, it is kinda selective.
