The last person you should blame on the defence is Tanganga. The others were much worse than him.
I mean we just couldn't get out to ballcarriers or runners at all in the defensive third, they were running free all over the place.
Sanchez is both more experienced and more mobile than Tanganga and has generally been preferred to him when fit, it was a confusing choice.
That’s not too hard when you have the same exact tactics every game. Other teams already found the blueprint to beat us, so they just repeat what has already worked. Sure, sometimes there is some variability in the team selection, but the game plan is the same.

I'd like him and the club to agree for him to stay until the end of the season whilst we make proper fucking arrangements for the next manager behind the scenes. Not sack him this week and then ring round all the houses to see who's available.
If he goes now, and I mean tonight, it will give us at least some chance of getting top four and winning the FA Cup. Both of those achievements are well within our reach with the right manager and system in place. Although Bentancur being out for the season will significantly impact that.
I have no faith for the imbeciles running the club to actually have a plan in place to replace him adequately. They had 2 months to replace Mourinho in 2021 and ended up with Nuno. Jut sack him now and bring Poch back.
It's how you adapt the tactics. In game he clearly had Deir hunt the space in front of him...now do you buy the coincidence that Conte is away and this utterly novel use of Deir spontaneously appears. Not buying it

I’d agree but no idea who you bring in unless you literally just fall back on Mason as an interim manager. We can’t afford more of this jumping around from manager to manager. There’s no guarantee the next one will work out, but we need to identify a longer term manager who is a better fit for the club.
Pretty sure that they (the club) have talked to Poch already. This seems like a scenario where everybody is waiting for the season to end.
I don't blame Conte that much in all honesty. Today was his fault, certainly, however he's dealt with so much shit this season that he desperately needs to go to Italy and have a rest with his loved ones.

Yeah that's the tricky element. My heart says Poch. Head says Tuchel. But Mason until the summer and then taking time to assess probably makes sense.
