Another point: we improved A LOT the squad. Still no results.

Im having a real time understanding what on earth is actually going on at Spurs this season. We finished on a high last year, and based on our summer business I was genuinely expecting us to come out flying.
Instead it’s been dreadful for most of the season so far. All for managers not deviating from their system at the first sign of trouble, but whatever Conte is trying clearing isn’t working in the slightest. Would be nice to see if he actually tried something, and used subs more proactively.

I don't like to be this guy, but if your opinion of this team has swung wildly twice in a week, and you'd feel entirely differently if the two performances and scorelines were reversed, you should probably chill out a tad.
We won't beat AC Milan midweek then we'll draw or even lose to the Spammers in the league...and it's arivederci Antonio.

Last week was the best performance of the season and i think we hoped that might be the turning point. Today was the worst performance of the season and i think its now apparent there isnt going to be a turning point this season. Last week appears to be just another in a long line of wins over City at home, a side that falls into our trap every time we play them at home.
Sickening. Bad to worse.

I was hopeful that last week’s performance was the turning point for some more consistent performances moving forward. Not that I was under any illusion that we’d be flying and competing for the title.
Today was truly the perfect mix of Conte’s shite tactics, and a bunch of players showing their best personal flaws.
He’s been unlucky with injuries, I’ll give him that.
