Dier & Forster are both better than League 1.
Dier had a decent season last year and Forster has a decent track record in the prem too.

He's not getting sacked anytime soon. Best case is if we are knocked out of the CL.
No it wont completely but it may give us enough of a new manager bounce to do something. At the worst it gives the new manager time to assess the squad before the summer.
But why would that happen? There's not a chance that we'll take our time to then only appoint a dreadful manager like Nuno. Poch will always be there as a fallback option.

Only five teams have conceded more goals than us. One of those teams we lost 4-1 to yesterday.

If we had only given him better centre backs we would be playing better football than Peps Barca.
Nice summary. I dont know what they think the end game is with Conte? We implausibly turn it around, get top 4 and win the cup then he'll walk away with reputation intact. More likely we carry on as we are, finish 5th or 6th, go out of the cup to the first decent side we play and he goes at the end of his contract. He clearly doesnt want to stay, i'd imagine its fairly obvious we wouldnt give him a new contract even if he did so whats the point limping on? Should have been dealt with start of January.
Conte has a definite style of football, that if every player was suited to, would be a success, but when you have players that are not suited, you need to be adaptable and have a plan b, c and d. He hasn’t and sticks to the same system no matter what, we must be one of the easiest teams to play against as you can train all week knowing how we’ll play.
Picking Son EVERY single game knowing how bad he’s been is just incompetence of the highest order.
Losing 3-1 to Leicester and bringing on Sanchez and Royal is more incompetence, did he seriously think they would get us back in the game? Leaving Porro exposed time and time again is more incompetence.
The football is hard to watch and sucking any enjoyment out of the game.
He’s a great guy and a great manager in certain leagues and for certain clubs but he’s not for us I’m afraid.

- Kane probably leaving if Conte goes
- last chance to get any money for Son
- got to then sell Ndombele, Lo Celso, Regulion, Winks, Rodon, Bryan Gil and probably Sanchez, Tanganga, Lenglet (well he just goes back to Barca), Lloris etc.
- get a new manager. If new manager like 3 at the back buy at least 2 probably 3 good CB’s. If manager is Poch get 2 CB’s but need 2 more AM.
- get replacements for Kane and Son as well as Lloris.
- if wing backs can’t covert to full backs we need to get a RB and a LB.
So that is a 1 GK, 2-3 CB’s, 2 AM’s and if Kane and Son go 2 strikers/wing forwards, and perhaps 2 full backs. So maybe 7-10 players to buy and 10-12 players to go.
Feel like each summer there is more to do, like we are running but somehow going backwards.
Edit: oh and a replacement for Paratici and maybe redesign of the football operation.

Conte isn’t free of blame, he’s stubborn and continues to play players that are out of form and blindly sticks to a formation even when it’s obvious it isn’t working
