Great times. Brings back some good memories. We had a fun team to watch in those days.

Have faith in young Skippy. He's got a lot of potential. look at the way he spreads the ball about, PEH and Benta don't do this.

Was there too..... Although not the most eventful game; but it was quite the nail-biter. Unprecedented heights and tension for me as a match-goer since the eaely 90s. The relief at the final whilst was off the charts!

.....Then Crouchy imploded within 15minutes of the next leg in Madrid and we were fucked!
Crouch did implode but circus clown Gomes was the reason why we were fucked.

Can't remember if that was one of the games when he faked being injured and cried his way off the pitch, but probably.

Italian football is dross.

So I still fancy us to go through despite our troubles.
I feel like that is an unearned rep at this point.

Milan are like us in a bad run of form. But arguably the most fun to watch team in Europe, Napoli, play in Serie A right now. There's definitely been a tactical shift in Italian football over the last couple of years towards more attacking football with Napoli, Atalanta, Sassuolo and Inzaghi's Lazio and now Inter teams at the forefront.
