Well he hasn't really been given a chance has he? Played a grand total of EIGHTY minutes in his best position!
I have no doubt that if Conte had top drawer a GK good with his feet, and a CCB and LCB, who were both press resistant and comfortable on the ball (as well as being able to defend), then his system would work a lot better. But he does't. And playing Tanganga / Dier / Davies / Sanchez makes us a very average football side. His stubbornness with the system after not getting the defenders he needed has killed us this season. Who is to blame? 50% Levy and 50% Conte in my mind. And now the players think he is off in the summer things will only get worse as they everyone drops their levels.

Nearly all of his goals last seaosn were running onto through balls on the counter. We have not played those patterns all season, with a slower build up, an overrun midfield, and Son playing exclusively with his back to goal in a congested midfield.
Kane dropped deep last season a lot, playing those balls over the top. When he's done it this years he's been crowded out; rest of the time he's staying up more.
We lack an AM, only have one tactic and it's been figured out since it's been played under three successive managers for four years lol

First off i hope his health is ok. He's not looked right for a while and whilst we criticise him for some football matters its important he gets well. But from a club point of view i think its time to draw a line under this, i think it would be a relief to all concerned. If its going to be Poch back get him in now.
I thought it seemed early to come back based on NHS guidelines for that op. It's a stressful job and quite demanding physically.
Conte made him win a Golden Boot last season.
Sonny has had the touch of a donkey this season, that's not on Conte.
It was absolutely ridiculous that he came back so early. Probably got the ok from our medical team rather than a specialist!
I think he's checked out the gallbladder surgery might have just tipped him over the edge but he's not looked right all season. Maybe best if he steps away
He said himself that he ignored his specialist and rushed back.
Here's hoping he actually takes the time to rest now. Stellini and Ryan can handle this.
