If its going to happen why bother delaying it? At the very worst he gets to assess the squad before the summer and more often than not you do get a bounce simply from fresh ideas and players wanting to impress (unless you're Nathan Jones). There's a much higher chance of things improving that way than just carrying on with whatever the hell we're doing now.

Conte came back against Doctor's orders shows he wanted to be here. His options in Italy will have the same money restraints we have and so not better. Can his wife & daughter come next season to live here? that could be crucial.

Our performances have been wank from day one of the season.
Sorry to be insensitive, but he's only got till the end of the season on his contract and given his personal struggles, it seems best for all concerned if he quit now and let us move forward with someone who can still recue to the season.
