Our players have an inferiority complex with Chelsea and they have a superiority complex with us.

This is a perfect opportunity to stamp on them but I don’t trust our players to go out there, enjoy the game and do the business. I expect they will overthink and shit themselves as usual. We are just so bad at focusing on the game in front of us.

Meanwhile Chelsea will just think “lads it’s Tottenham” and play with a swagger.
 
Frustrating that this game is being ramped up so much. I see Potter reporting he’s received death threats. Que the team getting behind him now. It’s unfortunate that our derbies seem to get so much more attention than others. Swear I don’t see this much media attention when the Manchesters meet or Liverpool/Everton. Probably doesn’t help our cause tbh

Totally ! However I expect we let them do what they want like we do most teams. We will sit back, let them have the ball and be passive. Their players will feel confident and their quality will come to the fore. We need come out hard but fair, push them back and hope their current fragility is exposed.
As I said in previous post this is where should be showing us his medals and showing his a top coach. Unfortunately the coward can only play one way, sets us up ex fly the sane every game and we will prbly have one of the shittiest first half’s of the season. Hope I’m wrong and he finally gets what the fans want and goes for it and show we are the home team and not gonna low down. Wish he’d sometime think and feel like the fans.

It’s pretty much why I said it! 😂

Obviously we won’t, but it’s why we keep going back right? In the hope that something might change (but probably won’t). Maybe Conte not being there will help, who knows. Him being desperate to beat the chavs like one of us fans can sometimes have the opposite effect. With him not there the players might find their own desperation to win.
