Ruben Amorim or Sergio Conceição, I'm not sure of Conceição's english level yet but it wouldn't be an issue with Amorim.

Notice how Poch has been unable to land the slightest bit of interest since his disastrous tenure at PSG? we'd be insane to go back for another bite, maybe if we got new owners willing to spend big money you could make the argument that he deserves another chance but under the current circumstances? NO.
NO please no EX Chelsea! NO more Portuguese coaches! . Amorin is another disciple of Victor Fraude and tactical periodisation guff. Gallardo if he has even a bit of English. Truly attacking flexible coach.

......And no doubt a bunch of others that aren't such house-hold names too.

I've said numerous times before about players and managers; if we're only looking at names that I can already name then we're perhaps not digging deep enough.
Well levy has gambled on proven managerial experience and that to date has failed.
If he gambles on say, very unproven manager, it could go even more horribly wrong than present.
I think levy/ENIC are perhaps backed into a corner now, although the likelihood is that poch will return after talks and promises.

We had 5 good years and all of some want to remember is last season where all fall apart. Dier and Davies are still in our starting lineup.
Davies wasn’t even starting in 2015 ffs, he is in 2023.

I’m just afraid of another Levy type manager. At least with Poch we know what we got.

I mean, Davies started nearly half of our Premier League games in the 15/16 season. (started 24 games in all comps)

Following year in 16/17 he started 18 Premier League games. So basically half. And 27 in all competitions. Some would say that was our greatest year under Poch.

Just saying

First of all you have no right to tell me what I can and can't say. You are no authoritive figure over me. Poch is a loser. What has he won. Nothing. All I care about is contes record.in the Premier league. We should be aspiring to win this in the future and we won't with poch. Poch had a horrendous record in a crap.league like the French. He was even struggling to win league games. We will.make a mistake getting poch. You need to change your views on poch.

Born in 61? Saw us win the league in 61? Or just picked out a number over 60 years ago marking the last time we won the league. And now thinking it’s easy to win it again?

And are you suffering from some sort of dementia? The person who had us closest to winning the league is Poch. Having built the team on a budget and maximising what he had at his disposal.

Conte has not shown us anything over 38 games to lead me to believe he’s building a team capable of doing the same thing poch did.

I don’t think our fanbase has the patience that Arteta was given.

This didn’t happen overnight down the road.

Happy to be proven wrong though.
Honestly, who gives a shit? Theres a reason why fans are not paid to make those decisions.

Not every manager deserves patience, they need to earn it. The board need to have a plan and determine if the manager is the right guy to take us forward even during periods when the results aren't great.

He was a back-up to Rose.
Rose was clearly our first left-back, that’s why he started 24 matches in the league.
Year after Rose was still playing every match than ones due to suspenions or injuires. He missed 20 matches due to injuries.

Having watched this shit for 4 years now it is obvious that the anti football tactics are killing the club.

Levy has been chasing the top 4 for the revenue and Spurs have compromised their attacking principles in pursuit of the filthy lucre this parasite desires.

Spurs have two golden boot winners in a front 3 that struggle to score goals.

ENIC's time is up.

They have failed and the team needs real investment.

The regime enthusiasts need to come to terms with the reality.

I'd take Poch but the real issue is the ownership.

He was a back-up to Rose.

.....And did VERY well as his back-up.

He remains a worthy member of this squad and has been one of the more reliable players of Conte's time here.

Rose only played genuinely well to his previous standard a handful of times after returning from injury, but Poch stuck with him like a favourite son regardless even after he slagged the club off in The Sun.

Yeh bring back Poch, with the same chairman, same structure and most of the same players that got him sacked in the first place. What could possibly go wrong?

:levystare:
Does anyone really think Ten Hag would have done the same with us as he has done with United? Only if we went out and got Martinez, Casemiro, Antony, Garnacho, Eriksen and Sabitzer.

Are there any circumstances we would go out and spend £70 million on a 30 year old central midfielder ... even assuming we would be able to convince someone in the first team at Real Madrid to come.

He also had an out of form Rashford, Sancho & Varanne waiting to be revitalised.

We need a manager like Redknapp or Martin Joel. Any around?

I don't think Poch is the answer. Any such reunions has failed in the PL and in life generally.

Why do some fans want Poch back? He had limited success then turned sour and was sacked. He had the best squad to win the league and CL, failed to win a cup. What is going to be different this time round when squad is weaker?

The football will be an improvement on the bilge dished up for most of this season.

Spurs have been unwatchable for long periods under Conte.

Last season we all thought getting top four and backing Conte with signings was the answer.

Getting top 4 in the manner we have played all season goes against everything Spurs used to stand for.

Selling tickets at the megadome, if Conte stays, will become a problem in the not too distant future.

Levy will let Conte walk away in the summer.

The tight mofo will be reluctant to pay him off and hire someone else before that.

Hence the hellish limbo we are all enduring.

He was. But he was still starting games.

In the 15/16 season, Rose didn't even get a proper run in the team until October and even then he was still frequently rotated in the league until the final stretch of games.

Even when Rose came back from injury, Poch preferred Davies from 2017 onwards.

I get your point. Its slightly wrong but I understand. Trippier, Davies, Dier, Sissoko were all depth options between in our best years. And then a few years down the line all were starting for us instead of upgrading.
