Is he overrated though? He's a decent shotstopper, and as you said on pens he's the best in the World.

Raya is obviously better for the future, but people are discrediting Martinez too much.

I agree, but the "Gil needs to bulk up a bit" thing come from a concern about him being physically dominated; not concerns over his athleticism/fitness.

.....Not that I suscribe to the former suggestion either.
 
I'm seeing that next season Milan can't afford to keep Lukaku .. and potter won't want him .if our Hari were to leave and our current playing system was to stay intact... Lukaku could well be an instant short term fix.... He's powerful pacy and can finish...given the right service he's a handful..
 
He cost Fenerbahçe a paltry fee of €3m in August 2021, and Napoli paid €18m in August 2022. It's hard to understand how they let him slip thru as Spurs had Son to recommend on top of scouting reports...

Iirc we wanted him when he was in China (not sure how seriously) but the club demanded £10m and when that deal fell through were eventually forced to sell to Fener for 3m.

Happened a few times to us I think.

Saw the Korean u23 team in Bangkok that I think they took to the Olympics... Not sure many made it through to the European leagues, but unlike the other Asian international teams I saw Att, you could tell they were a 'proper' footballing nation and it wouldn't be long b4 a few made it through... In terms.of footballing talent IMO It's a country that should be taken v seriously

Yeah it wasnt so bad, when Kane had a extra yard or 2 and no one seemed to object when son did. It . But hey... Who knows whats in store... We've had defensive minded coaches since poch left... Lukaku fits this style ...A change in styles of play would not only be bloody expensive but would probably mean a step bac ie no Europe for.a while before a.step forward...if you get my drift...
