Frankly, at this point, I don't give a shit what the players think because we have had these sort of "leaks" under every manager, even Poch.
If they hate the manager so much, maybe they should play well just to give him the middle finger, have a more positive "I will prove you wrong" mentality rather than them constantly hiding behind managers and making excuses.
As you say , player recruitment is vital , just look at little old Brighton , their recruitment really does put our lot to shame . There is talent out there and you don’t have to break the bank . Our mistakes in the transfer market has lumbered us with deadwood we are struggling to offload which is continuing to hurt us deeply .

Isn’t conte just going through the motions and basically doesn’t give a shit about the club. Never has all his interested in is self protection. If his going down hisvtsling everyone with him. Like I have said many times now why come out with that rant yday just before international break. Due to his shit tactics and game management he could have done that rant after many games this season but he didn’t. It’s all calculated and basically his now back tracking on some things apparantly but he wants a pay off. His got no morales. He says his never had this situation before but his oversaw crap performances all season and done nothing to fix it. Yet he has no plan everyone knows next game will be the same selfish players not playing as a team and he won’t do anything about it. Hi king drop some of these players. Can anyone say Gil for example didn’t bust a gut when he played. He shows great commitment and enthusiasm unlike say PEH. Conte picks him all the time. Why not play skipp and Sarr?

Spot on but people with other agendas will look to put blame elsewhere. Yes the club needs to take some blame but this season purely on a football level is all on conte. Many of his fans said wait till he has a pre-season. His had 3 transfer windows. Got rid of players he didn’t want. Does play players he didn’t want. Such an arrogant bastard. It’s his job to create a team spirit to make all are pulling in the right direction. Only the other week the players kept going on about team meetings and so on. WDF did that achieve then? It’s all on conte afaiac! He dictates the shit tactics, subs, timings, formation everything. He needs to be held account and cannot get away Scott free. Some of you on here are too desperate to blame Levy every time it goes wrong. At the start of Conte’s expensive tenure we were all very happy with his appointment At the end of last season we were all happy. We were all very happy with the summer transfer business unless you are idiot enough to believe we should have purchased Mbappe, Gvardiol and Haaland. What none of us could see was that Conte’s big reputation is false. Every disappointment we have had this year can be blamed on Conte’s pathetic intransigent tactics and inability to improve the players we have got. It is all on him

Yea levy has picked the managers but a lot here said they wanted conte bcos his a serial winner and will kick arse. I’ve not seen one game this season where we have dominated ftom start to finish and totally imposed our selves on the oppo. We play like pussies on the pitch bcos of his shot tactics. But come press conference his a hard man. Why not show that in the dressing room and then get the team to play with that attitude. Even if the football was short at least ducking g get the team to be hard to beat and concede goals. His done neither!
I meant us picking up a new man and turning him into a top draw manager being unlikely. I think if Poch comes back it will be fine actually. I don’t get the fear. If anything I think the club could do with the (relatively) safe pair of hands.
Why not just bring one of them for last 10 games but say we will be looking for perm appointment in the summer? They can show they are a good candidate..
The thing I can't get over is we legitimately played good football under Conte last season with a worse squad. This season, after he was backed in the summer (after the summer window he said he was happy with the squad), and had a preseason to work with the squad, our performances have, frankly, never been consistently good.
The only thing we have done consistently well all season is attacking set pieces, which is something he doesn't even coach.
Besides that? We have no style of play, we don't attack well, and we don't defend well.
This coach, who is one of the highest paid in the world, is supposed to make our team PLAY better and get better results. The longer he's been here the worse it's gotten.

Weren’t people rating viera earlier on in the season? It takes a while and ups and downs to see what a coach is really made of… not sure Zerbi has been tested yet
