Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I suspect that Conte has already been sacked. He just doesn't know it yet.

Levy (typically) has the next manager lined up and ready to go when the axe is dropped.

Conte took a big, heaping, steaming turd on the entire club in that post-match presser.

There are things said in the heat of the moment that may be forgivable, but his speech was basically a prepared speech: "I didn't want to bring this up, but..."
I like to think that. Levy typically doesn't fire anyone until he has the next one lined up- at least not lately.

Conte is so toxic though I'd be very glad to just hand it all over to Mason for a few games until a new caretaker/perm appointment can be selected.

A number of players believe ______________

Training to hard
Training to soft
Manager to intense
Manager to laid back

Excuse GIF by MOODMAN

And 15 million pounds to add nothing.

14 people agreeing with what exactly?

And again Conte is deemed to be blameless.

Fcuking state of fans. Shameful.

ENIC and Levy to be held accountable for no shots on target against Milan in the first half at our place.

Myopic Magoo must be back on the box.

I'm not sure about that.

The 'new' project manager plan will involve a larger number of younger players and a reduced overall wage bill.

Levy will be happy with Europa / Conference League evenings at the megadome on a lower player wage budget in the short term.

If entertaining football returns I think he may be able to pull it off once again.

Spurs are already committed on their wage bill for next year for the bulk of the squad and, particularly, the high earners. Failure to make the UCL might lose some bonus money but Levy isn’t paying in bonuses more than he takes in revenue.
We pay the lowest wages/ revenue ratio in the Premier. You can see online how it varies from year to year (and, therefore, with /without UCL football). It’s higher in years without it.

I’m not even going to get into the argument of branding with the stadium naming rights still available.

There’s absolutely no way Levy prefers to miss out on UCL to lower his wage bill.

Mason can fuck off too.

Does the guy have a lifetime contract with us or something?

But do the high earners take the hit on their Champions League qualification bonus or the club?

My guess would be that Levy only pays them at the top end if Spurs qualify.

I think there is a fair chance Lenglet and Perisic were in his mind.

They switched off for the first Saints equaliser after half time.

Once Davies was injured Conte knew he was relying on Lenglet in the remaining fixtures.

Perisic did not celebrate his goal which suggests he already knew Conte had / would blame him for the earlier mistake and a bollocking was imminent.

Lenglet is a loan player who will not want to risk injury between now and the end of the season.

Yet another scenario that Levy's stingy fiscal methods do not cater for.

Conte has never experienced anything like this in his ( more recent) managerial career.

His outburst in the second half of his post match presser all points to this.

The frustration was pouring out.

He was calling the club two bob to the world.
I'm glad, that, someone has decided to expose ENIC/levy for what they have been doing to this club.
Taking the club, and fans for fools, nothing will change of course, and the new fella will also receive the same lies.

This guy has managed at two of the GREASIEST, SLEAZIEST, LOOSEST clubs in European football (Juventus and Chelsea) and was done for match-fixing, and just said that he's NEVER seen a more selfish group of players.

Incredible.

Levy is a businessman. He’s not going to lay out more in bonuses than is guaranteed in revenue.
The wages / revenue goes UP in years we don’t make UCL, DOWN in years that we do. Not to be argumentative, but the maths suggest I’m right.

And in 18 months time Notabadsquad will once again be screaming for the "new guy" to be sacked and reminding us it wasn't Levy's fault we had only 2 shots on target and Dier and Tangnga had brain farts at the back

:harrylol:

7:20. what is he actually on about. try to hide what situation? he contradicts himself a lot, if thats not about the board which apparently hes said it wasnt an attack on the board but the players. then why is he playing the same useless cunts over and over? if hes gonna attack the players it has to be the players like son, kane, dier and davies who have been here many years and seen all these managers come and go, so why is he playing them week in week out? i can get kane but sons been shit all year and played games costing us points! this was clear a long long time ago he needed to be dropped! hes had options so there is no excuses. dier and davies, yet again not good enough! hes had options to at least get one of them out of the team. instead weve watched dier back off all year and do his best to pass defensive responsbilities onto teammates.

He's just throwing out excuses so he doesn't have to take on any of the blame himself.

There's truth in what he is saying obviously. We have underperforming players and a board that is far from perfect. But Conte has to shoulder the blame as well for the stuff that he actually can handle.... Like underperfoming players and coaching them to do better.

But you know. The wig man can never be wrong.

He is in denial about his hair ffs.

What did we expect when we agreed to pay him 15 million a year?
