Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Frankly, at this point, I don't give a shit what the players think because we have had these sort of "leaks" under every manager, even Poch.

If they hate the manager so much, maybe they should play well just to give him the middle finger, have a more positive "I will prove you wrong" mentality rather than them constantly hiding behind managers and making excuses.

They’re all cowards if it’s true. Could you imagine any one of them saying it to Conte’s face like a man?

No chance. None at all.

To be fair , even the Sheffield / Blackburn game was a bloody good game . Both sides having a right good go and some nice football , entertaining stuff , remember that?
Yes exactly what I thought. Unfortunately bcos of the cunts rant yday a lot of people have forgot about the shit football his served up this season the wisely knock outs of the cup comps. All brushes under his wig bcos his had a go at the club. Like I said if he saw this attitude in the players he should have sorted it out by now. But his done nothing apart from get rid of east targets. One bod the worst managers ever in terms of respect and integrity. His a charlatan who just wants his money. The fucker is so much so that his backtracking now on his attack. However he bought up 20 years of nothing. We don’t have many players left from 20 years ago so it can only mean one thing? Yet levy has fallen for it.
Sack the fucker and bring in poch till end of season but say no gaurantee he’ll get the job perm.

That’s all well and good but if we want a manager that’s currently employed, and one with principles then it’s likely we will have to wait. If we think conte is toxic then mason will need to step up.

Indeed.... I certainly don't want us to compromise our decision regarding our next nanager in order to try and salvage this season.

Whoever it is; if they're worth having they're worth waiting for.

This club needs an exorcist.

I can't see how Conte can continue to manage after this, the players surely will not want to play for him now.
With a two week break, I would be surprised if something doesn't happen.
Conte will need to quit.

No way tight arse is sacking Conte and paying him to do less than he has already.

It is clear that Conte has no respect for Levy and the methods used by THFC during his tenure as manager.

What Conte has done is clarify for the supporters, by his words and actions, that the club have brought in certain players, (Spence, Lenglet, Danjuma at least) against his wishes, and probably reneged on signing some players he did want.

Poch always stuck to the 'berry berry appy' line until his Champions League final meltdown press conference.

In this respect Conte was probably correct, in principle, to not compromise his own way of working, tactics and other methods because Levy had placed him in a tight spot.

However; it is Conte's failure to adapt his tactics, team selections and to be pragmatic, under the circumstances Levy has forced him into, that has made Conte unpopular with sections of the Spurs support and possibly some of the players.

Levy's shit will stick to Conte just as it has tainted all of those who trod the same path before him.

You have to hand it to Levy.

He is a slippery mofo who always does just enough to sell his season tickets and keep the illusion of ambition alive.

Levy will sack Conté if he feels someone else has a better chance of getting UCL football.

Conté’s remaining salary pales against lost UCL revenue.
I'm not sure about that.

The 'new' project manager plan will involve a larger number of younger players and a reduced overall wage bill.

Levy will be happy with Europa / Conference League evenings at the megadome on a lower player wage budget in the short term.

If entertaining football returns I think he may be able to pull it off once again.

WHICH PLAYERS are you talking about, Tony?

Without context this whole thing seems like a smokescreen.

If the club won't provide one, TFG really should take some of that £15M/yr and hire a translator.

If not for himself -- to be able to clearly express what he means with SENTENCES, then for us supporters, trying to parse what this fake-bald Yoda is blathering about, imagining a collection of athletes from around the world trying to parse what he's blathering about.

I suspect that Conte has already been sacked. He just doesn't know it yet.

Levy (typically) has the next manager lined up and ready to go when the axe is dropped.

Conte took a big, heaping, steaming turd on the entire club in that post-match presser.

There are things said in the heat of the moment that may be forgivable, but his speech was basically a prepared speech: "I didn't want to bring this up, but..."

I can't see Conte quitting, I think levy will try to bumble along until the season ends.
What it does show, is what many of us have long suspected, which is the interference of General Levy.
As for ambition, that is dead at spurs, unless of course you are looking for go karting 😊

I think there is a fair chance Lenglet and Perisic were in his mind.

They switched off for the first Saints equaliser after half time.

Once Davies was injured Conte knew he was relying on Lenglet in the remaining fixtures.

Perisic did not celebrate his goal which suggests he already knew Conte had / would blame him for the earlier mistake and a bollocking was imminent.

Lenglet is a loan player who will not want to risk injury between now and the end of the season.

Yet another scenario that Levy's stingy fiscal methods do not cater for.

Conte has never experienced anything like this in his ( more recent) managerial career.

His outburst in the second half of his post match presser all points to this.

The frustration was pouring out.

He was calling the club two bob to the world.
