Sad Arrested Development GIF

What's like Koulibaly? Kim min Jae looked exactly what he IS. Highlight reels will tell you exactly what Kalidou Koulibaly WAS. I was screaming this loudly to anyone who would listen. I said on here that he would struggle badly in the EPL his decline was advanced and pronounced the last 18 months for Napoli and Senegal. I loved the player but said no way should Spurs go near him. Where as at 17m the South Korean was a very obvious pick up.

It's a real worry for us that I have clearly scouted better and more diligently than the club for a considerable period. I trust three or four contributors on this forum to rebuild our squad way better than I trust our staff. 🤬

LOL name and shame (in a good way)

According to Football Insider....

"However, the decision could be taken out of Napoli’s hands this summer, with Kim’s contract including a £43million release clause for two weeks in July."
If this is real let's pretend to Son he is central to our plans and tell him he's getting a bump if he stays. Then ( once Kim is on board)say oh that was the old Conte plan..... £43m that's less than Porro yes please 🙏

But was he?

With due respect, you absolutely did call it right but I don’t think there’s such a thing as can’t miss when you’re talking about a guy who has never played above Chinese Super League standard except for one year in Turkey.
I think we’d both agree that we should extend our net further than Italy, France and Iberia (which seem to be our only source of targets) but transition from lower leagues is even harder to predict and we don’t seem to predict well regardless of where we recruit from.
If we wait too long, we’ll get out-bid or out- ‘branded’ by bigger clubs. If we jump in too early, we as likely as not to be ‘N’Jie’d’. Having said that, there are a number of clubs in a similar position, like Dortmund, who seem to do it far better than we do.

100%.

AND

It's a lot easier to spread the net when you have manager that will give minutes to players from those leagues.

Conte is only interested in "important" players, which means they come from an establishment dino club.
