I imagine someone like Nagelsmann would demand a significantly higher salary than Amorim making the release clause more palatable. That's not really saying much. Of course Amorim would want to manage us. The real question is if the club think its worth paying the release clause.
Yeah tend to agree. Naglesmann is obviously a very good coach, i wanted him here after Mourinho and would be in my top 2 choices now but there does seem to be a risk (as with a lot of coaches) he could be an aloof, arrogant, oddball. With Poch we know he isnt, we know he could cope with the board and wouldnt have a meltdown after the first summer window. Its really rolling the dice in getting something potentially great or going for someone you know is very good but perhaps has a limit. Tough choice but i hope its one of those 2.As much as I like Nagelsmann at the end of the day he is just another shiny name that is attracting a lot of attention and as good as he may be we are just starting again with the new shiny toy. At least with Poch there is some kind of understanding and he will not be coming into the job completely blind.

Let's face it... Whoever we get; Negelsmann, Tuchel, Poch... Pep, Klopp, 1999 Ferguson or 2003/04 Wenger... we'll turn them to shit!
...and you think that's a good thing? As if our reputation with managers isn't already bad enough... :/
YeahIf we sign him, they should totally announce his appointment with him wearing his original replica rather than holding a new shirt.
Talk about an easy win to gain affection from the fan base.
My neighbor's grandpa worked on the German rocket team with Werner Von Braun and he said that he used to send Nagelsmann's grandpa fried chicken in the mail in exchange for authentic German kraut... he said that he said that JN has the dvd Tottenham Hotspur: The Official History Of 1881-2001 on his shelf.Talk circulating that Nagelsmann has a small marble statue of Alan Hutton in his en-suite bathroom. More to come.
