A player I don't want us to buy is Ziyech.

Players I do want us to buy this summer are Maddison, Ward-Prowse, Raya and a CB better than Dier.

Bring back the loanees over the summer, let the new manager chose who he wants to keep.

The odds that Levy spends the money necessary to bring in the players I want in, even if we make Champions League, is 0%. Which is incredably frustrating and is why we are are always stuck in limbo as a club.

Well, that highlights to failure of our club.

Why have these players not performed to their potential? Are they really awful players, or has the club failed in developing them? - i.e. What makes you think signing new players will have any other outcome?
So do nothing and hope a 5th manager can get a tune out of them? You buy new players to freshen things up and hope some of them are very good, the same reason any team buys new players.

Emerson has courage, perseverance and determination Dier can't even imagine having in his dreams.

What's wrong with Skippy?

As for anyone still wanting to give GLC yet another chance, it baffles me
Emerson has played 4 good games since he’s been here. Because he had those good games in a row too many forget how utter shit he was before. Having determination is great but ability to perform week in week out is something that should go with it.

Jwp is a 5/10 player on the weeks he doesn't score a free kick. He's a nifty asset for a bottom half side to have, not within a sniff of being a CL level player.

Does GLC need another chance?

He didn’t leave because he wasn’t playing well, he left because he didn’t fit Conte’s idea for the CMs he wanted. Conte didn’t want a CAM, he wants 2 B2B and that’s not GLC

He left because he is physically feeble with constant injuries. Some players simply aren’t cut out for the PL and he is one of them. He has been injured for most of the season with Villarreal too, we do not need players who can’t stay fit.

4 starting XI players is what we need this summer. It’s a big ask, but not a huge one for a club that is competent in the transfer market. Unfortunately we aren’t really.
I disagree with LB, as I think Udogie/Perisic/Sessegnon/Davies gives us enough cover for both LB and LWB.

I’d prefer 2CBs instead.

Agree with the rest- and I’d want either Olise or Maddison for the AMC/WF role. Both talented creators.

Whether we stick with the 3-CB system or switch back to a pair, we need at least 2 new CB. And that's if Romero stays...the guy's a friggin walking red card.

You get rid of Dier, Lenglet, Sanchez, Rodon and Tanganga (cause that's the right thing to do), that's 5 out. Yeah yeah yeah, need to find a willing buyer/loan option and players to agree etc etc. But say you do manage to ship them out, you can't just bring 1 or 2 in. So I'm saying 2 guys who got starter written all over them, and a very decent backup...plus you bring in a HG kid and not just for the quota, you actually have his and the club's future in mind. I know...easier said than done.

Re that famous AMC spot - we've already got the world's best No 10, maybe time to play him there and get someone to do his gig. We've also got Roddy and Biss who have unreal talent, if only we had a manager using them properly, especially the latter. But yeah by all means, we can try and get another one...as long as we don't end up spending the entire summer going after Mads for him to end up picking Newcastle or Utd

Being played in your position, the one you were originally bought to play...well, that helps too. As does not swapping managers every fortnight. Or having players next to you who give a shit about the club that pays them ridiculous wages (with fans' hard-earned dosh).

Whether he had a good or bad game, Emerson always gave his absolute all. And that ain't easy when you got so many at the ground and on fucking social media giving you toxic shit.

The lad has unreal character, that's impossible to deny him that. Put him in the right environment and see how he does.

You don't win trophies with just Messis and Zidanes. You need Puyols and Makeleles. Go back through history, ask the elite players if they'd have achieved what they did without the water-carriers.

And before you get all excitable, I'm not putting Emerson in the same league as the great Carles and Claude, just making a point

If Nottingham Forest go down, you reckon they would sell Gibbs-White?
So many players are gonna wanna be sold...or have to be sold. Great club Forest and I do like their manager, but utterly ridiculous the shopping they done since promotion.

Gibbs-White is a very good player, but Spurs level? Meh. Also the small matter of him having cost Forest like 40-45mil, and relegation or not, I doubt they'd sell him for less than 35...a heck of a lot of cash for a player like him

Not sure Perisic has done enough to warrant a second season, especially at his age and with his wages. Also don't think the guy's a LB or LWB...if he stayed, gotta play him further forward.

Sessegnon- lol.
