More would be anti ENIC if they thought there was any realistic chance of them giving up their prize asset.

I’m firmly FUCK ENIC and will be until they fix the mess they have caused in the football club.
The overall business is healthy, the football club is a mess.
And that is a major problem. Not taking a stance just because the owners probably won’t sell? What is the point in being ENIC Out if the club is up for sale? They’re going anyway! Surely the point is to ensure they are going, no matter if they want to remain or not?
And also, granted, we have no manager and our DoF situation isn’t exactly ideal. But in what way, considering our history (save a couple of purple patches decades ago) and considering our place at the money trough in football, is the club in a mess? Is it just because of the managerial situation? Style of play? Or is it down to the usual “we pay mostest so should win mostest”?
The fact that we are fifth, yet people think we are in a mess, fucking staggers me.

It’s a total shambles.
The fact that we are 5th is a sofa to hide behind during the horror movie of this season. The sofa is getting smaller.
ENIC out may actually make the club less appealing to buyers and reduce the price ENIC can charge and make them LESS likely to sell.
Of course we're a shambles, bloody hell its not even in doubt. We have the assistant of the recently sacked manager in charge, we have an iffy DoF currently on gardening leave who is looking at a 3 year ban, our star striker and best player will rightly want out this summer, our keeper of 10 years is done, Son is well on the way to being done, the football served up for 4 years has probably been some of the worst in the division we've spent £100m on Richarlison and Porro who currently look like div 1 fodder.....and if anyone thinks we'll finish 4th or 5th i've got a bridge to sell you.

My expectations for a season are that we are top six and give the cups a decent go. Sides with more clout and more money generally win these things. Aye, there’s the odd glitch where Leicester drug themselves to the heavens and Wigan get a lucky cup, but more than 90% of the time a club bigger and more rich than us win the shiny things. I know this and even though we have some major issues to resolve, things aren’t a complete mess as far as our position is concerned.
What’s your expectations going into a season?
As for ENIC being less likely to sell if there’s an Out movement, what’s the point of it then? Is it just using this place as somewhere to vent?

Given all the unrest, I would prefer that our fans actually confronted (not threaten obviously, just confront) Levy rather than going at individual players.

Some believe Conté and Stellini was the problem. Now we saw 4-4-2 with Dier and Romero CB, Perisic LB and Porro RB. That's about the best we have. Bournemouth had 1 run at them and .......Surprise, surprise..... 1 goal.
3-5-2 with 2 Holding MFs is not a Conté system. He was forced to have both MFs babysitting a seriously lacking defence. I don't remember Eden Hazard having to stay 5m in front of the defence. Neither did Costa have to track back and make tackles near our 18 area. Same can be said for the José tenure. They overachieved

They’ve signed players of huge quality this season. They’ll more than likely make a top class managerial appointment and will be competing for trophies again next season.
Our situation is completely different. We’re in an absolute world of shit.
Maybe a case to meet you halfway and say ENIC are a victim of some of their success financially.
Top 6 and the plucky underdogs was a reasonable target when we were in WHL.
You can't have:
the best stadium in Europe, maybe the world,
the best facilities in Europe,
the highest season ticket prices and...
refuse to sell the best players in the world like Harry Kane,
then get away with saying Top 6 and plucky underdogs is an acceptable outcome.
Brighton are plucky underdogs, even Villa now.
Spurs and ENIC need to find the courage to admit that winning is now the acceptable outcome and find a way to really compete to achieve it. There is nowhere to hide from that pressure now.
Conte was right about that. This club doesn't want to accept the pressure of being winners.
Well, like it or not, the noise from those fans in the arena made it abundantly clear now that winning is the only acceptable outcome and winning in style as well.
Levy and ENIC need to deal with that pressure or get out of the kitchen if they are too small-time to hack it.
